PCM LEVEL 1 PROGRAM
The Basic Concepts of Communication Ø Distinguish that the way you say something is more
important than what you say.Ø The six personality types and their specific way of
communicating. Ø Presentation to each participant of his/her
personality structure.
Manage Situations of Miscommunication, Misunderstandings, Inefficiency, and ConflictØ Effects of stress in communication which generates
stress in others. Ø Identify behaviors of stress in others.Ø How to manage PCM to return to positive and
productive communication.
Understand and Manage Distress Behavior Ø Distress and the different manifestations.Ø The three degrees of distress: drivers, failure
mechanisms, and despair.Ø The consequences of distress on our efficiency, our
communication and our management style.
MotivateØ Psychological needs: what motivates and what does
not motivate. Ø How to satisfy everyone’s psychological needs.
Develop Positive Communication Ø The rule of communication.Ø The different modes of perception by each
personality type. Ø Recognize the signs, attitudes, and behaviors
indicative of the personality type of the person one is communicating with and use the right communication channel.
TRAINER CERTIFICATION PROGRAM
This seminar is highly interactive and focuses on practicing all modules and communication processes. Participants will be observed and assessed both on their theoretical knowledge of the model and their ability to teach to any of the six personality types. Training will take place in a virtual classroom.
In order to be certified, participants will:
Ø Complete PCM 1 & PCM 2 Ø Answer a written questionnaire on the PCM
components. Ø Select training topics of Process Communication
Model® to present in front of their peers and the Master Trainer.
Ø Practice and demonstrate skills on dealing with a driver behavior by using appropriate channel and perception.
Ø A passing score is a minimum of 7/10 for both process and content.

Connecting & Motivating Ø Review Channel & Perceptions. Ø Motivating with the psychological needs. Ø Intervention strategy.
Resolving & Preventing Conflict Ø Inviting out of doorway distress.Ø Inviting out of failure mechanisms.Ø Managing difficult situations: “How to say...?“
Advanced Theory Ø Why do we phase? The issue of Personality phases.Ø How the four myths manifest and are reinforced in
distress. Ø Identify life failure patterns by analyzing language,
written and verbal.

Payments for seminars are due at the time of registration unless other arrangements have been made. Registration must be paid in full before the date the program begins. If payment has not been received before the seminar begins, access will not be given to the participant.
All cancellations must be received in writing. They may be emailed to [email protected] . Full refunds will be made if written notice of cancellation is received 30 days prior to the first day of training. If you cancel 15 days prior to the first day of training, half of the fee will be refunded. No refunds will be made for cancellations received less than 15 days prior to the start of the training seminar.
