ReFacing - Gentle tightening through radio waves

The Beauty Treat uses radio waves to gently heat and stimulate fibroblasts in the dermis. This causes a shortening of the structures that have become too long and encourages the reproduction of collagen. Without any stress to the epidermis the tissue is tightened from a depth. This method otherwise known as ReFacing is a safe and gentle method to achieve a younger appearance without the need for surgery.

Application & Effects Through a sterilisable electrode radio waves are infiltrated deep into the dermis. Immediately after the application the treated person has a brighter look. This may only be superficial as collagen higher in the dermis is stimulated. The long lasting effects are more visible after a few days and improves over the duration of several months. Areas of application The ReFacing method is applied mostly to the face, throat and the décolleté thus minimising the appearance of wrinkles and tear sacs. ReFacing can also be used to tighten the skin of the complete body, especially thighs, arms and stomach.

Who can be treated? ReFacing can be used on all adults. Usually, younger people can be treated at intervals of 1 month. For the older person it is advisable to repeat the treatment at intervals of 2 to 3 weeks, or at shorter intervals until the required result is achieved. The appearance of a persons skin improves gradually depending on the person’s age, skin condition and lifestyle habits. People suffering from rosacea, psoriasis and other skin conditions should only be treated after a physician has been consulted.
