Story of Beau Est Mien

Magali Dincher’s creative life started soon after the plane she boarded in Paris, landed at Perth Airport in Western Australia. After twenty five years in France, moving from a tiny village to big cities, she decided to move to the other side of the world to start a new life. Her English skills, then being similar to that of a four-year-old girl, Magali decided to express her creativity in a more personal form. She spent all her time drawing and practising printmaking. Before long, she had her first series of limited edition prints ready to show to the rest of the world! Magali plucked up her courage and took a tiny portfolio to some local stores and galleries. They loved her work, took orders and ‘Voila!’ Magali Dincher had suddenly become an official printmaker and purveyor of lovely designs! Fired up with her newly found status, Magali launched Beau Est Mien (french for ‘Beautiful is mine’) in 2009. Today, it’s a studio and a shop in Northbridge, Western Australia dedicated to the joy of creating and selling hand made treasures that Magali’s assistants source from all over the world.

Magali produces a range of quirky and detailed limited edition prints on paper. All are hand-made and hand-coloured with water colours, using traditional printmaking techniques. In addition to the original prints and with her lovely husband Erik, she also creates stationery products, reproductions and rubber stamps that are presented in this catalogue.

ART POSTERSWe have given lots of attention to detail and care for our posters to look as good as our original and hand printed art prints. Colours, details, and textures have been printed with great respect to the original. Each poster is limited to an edition of 200 copies and is printed on a smooth matte paper. MINIMUM ORDEROur minimum opening order is AU $150.

PAYMENTPayment is required prior to shipping, either through PayPal, Credit card (by phone) or Cheque.

SHIPPINGPaid orders are shipped within 7 days. Most domestic orders are shipped via Australian Post, and international orders are usually shipped via UPS. We offer express post for an additional fee.

PACKAGINGWholesale packages are shipped in as few boxes as possible depending on the shape and size of ordered goods and quantities. Posters are enclosed in a cello sleeve with a cardboard backing board. Greeting card box sets are enclosed in a recycled paper box and a plastic lid with a sticker detailing the designs. Single cards and their envelope come in a cello sleeve. Stamps come in a muslin bag.

REFUNDSRefunds returned via original form of payment. Refunds within one week of receipt of merchandise on goods that are damaged by shipping only.
