"So this is Agia Sophia. Nice. I'm from Pittsburgh and I was told that I had to come here."
"Oh really, who told you to come here?"
"Well, let's just say ‘the Greek network.’"

Q. What is something else that occupies some your time?
I volunteer at Agia Sophia Coffeehouse, and I love it. It’s a great atmosphere and the people are wonderful. I have met great friends who I get together with. And it’s the case that when you smile at the people, they almost always smile back! So it has been really rewarding. There’s just a great feel there. And it’s fun to read the positive sentiments that people often put in the comment box. Being associated with Agia Sophia somehow brings fuller blessings for my life. Down the street from the coffeehouse, there is a man working at the parking lot where I park my car. One day before picking up my car to leave, I had brought him some fresh spanakopita from the coffee shop. He was so grateful; he let me know in the happiest sense that I had made his day. The small exchange in turn made me feel alive, human. To me those little things are what life is really about!
Thank you, Tiffany, for the testimonial and for volunteering at the shop! The OCCGH Board

Highmark “Walk for a Healthy Community”
Here’s the Agia Sophia Team that took part in the Highmark walk-a-thon on May 16 at HACC. They walked to raise money for Mission of Mercy, a local non-profit mobile clinic that provides free healthcare, free dental care and free prescription medications to the uninsured, underinsured and those who “fall through the cracks” of our healthcare system. Together they raised $1,385!
Congratulations, Team! Great Job!
