Her teaching method is fun because she turns the classroom into a democracy. A lot of things in her class are decided by reason and debate. One of the best times I’ve had with Ms. Baker was in Drama class. She takes Drama seriously but still tolerates a sense of humour and includes shy people. He is very funny and practical. I love hearing funny stories about his wife and daughters, like the one about him playing a princess board game and losing to his daughter. Mr. Matthews deserves to be honoured as Educator of the Year because in my eyes, he has made Art class extremely fun and I look forward to going every time. Though I don’t have too much experience in Art, Mr. Mathews gives clear and strict instructions, which allow you to do the best you can. He is a teacher that should be honoured for his success.

Though I don’t have too much experience in Art, Mr. Mathews gives clear and strict instructions, which allow you to do the best you can. He is a teacher that should be honoured for his success.

Mr. Lumsden is the best because, as he would say, he is simply the best! He is the most aware teacher because he seems to have a 360º view of everything in his room. Nothing gets by him. Mr. Lumsden is the most engaging teacher not only because of his hilarious stories, but also because of his teaching style. He asks a student to solve a problem on the board, but at the same time, explains to the class the step-by-step process of solving the problem. It’s a personal, one-to-one teaching style while at the same time teaching the entire class. He is also the most understanding man I have ever had the pleasure of talking to; his upbeat personality made talking with him easy, and his confidence made his advice the best there is.
