BACKGROUNDThe Uniting Church is seeking to leverage investments in technology

to improve operational efficiency, enable and empower more

effective communication and extend its reach in the community.

This presentation outlines key areas of focus in technology and

communications; administration, collaboration and communications,

content publishing, online engagement and mobile apps.

Program VisionTo equip congregations and presbyteries to effectively engage their communities

First, to create a light-weight centralized administrative hub to manage

delegated authorization and administration of user accounts

throughout Congregations and Presbyteries.

Second, to use this hub to roll out a number of network services to

Congregations and Presbyteries, aimed at unifying, securing and

streamlining strategy, content publishing, collaboration and

communications across the organisation.
