12How to RegisterClick on the Camp tab at gsnim.org. Select the camp you’re interested in and click on the Register Now button. Registration opens January 22, 2020. Early-bird dead-line is March 20. Register early and save 10%! On-time registration begins March 21.
A nonrefundable deposit of $20 (for camps with fees of $125 or less) or $40 (for camps with fees more than $125) is required to hold your spot. If you transfer camps after the last date to register (this date varies by camp), you will be required to pay an additional nonrefundable deposit for the newly chosen camp session.
In addition, several forms will need to be filled out prior to camp. Check the website for due dates for these documents. You can access camp forms by clicking on the Camp Resources tab at gsnim.org. In addition to a health form, you will find an adventure agreement, horse-riding agreement, camp-specific information, and packing lists.
You will receive an automated balance-due reminder. Camp balances are due June 1 or, if you register after June 1, at the time of registration.
If you have questions about Council-led camps, call 800-283-4812, ext. 2, or email [email protected].
Refund PolicyA full refund will be given if: • the application for financial assistance is
denied or insufficient funds are granted.
• the program or session is cancelled.
A partial refund will be given if:• the camper becomes ill or injured and
the Council is notified two weeks before the session check-in with a written statement from a physician.
• the family unexpectedly moves out of the area.
• there is a family emergency [e.g., a family death or medical emergency (to be reviewed on a case-by-case basis)].
If you transfer camps after the last date to register (this date varies by camp), you will be required to pay an additional nonrefundable deposit for the newly chosen camp session.
No refund will be given and the entire amount will be retained if a camper does not show up, does not pass the health and wellness screening, or leaves early due to illness, homesickness, parental request, or demonstration of disregard toward camp policies.
Register early—spots fill up fast!
Community CampsOur community camps are open to all girls who are looking for a more local experience. Girls do not need to live in or be associated with a troop in these counties to attend.
In addition, community camps have opportunities for PAs and CITs to assist younger campers. Fees vary by camp.
Fees listed in this section are on-time fees. Early-bird fees may apply to some opportunities. More information and registration details for community camps can be found at gsnim.org.
