It’s time to get the scoop on a friend or family member’s favorite day! Begin with this list of question starters, using the 5 W’s: Who, What, When, Where, and Why. Then, feel free to add your own

follow-up questions too!

What you’ll need: This activity sheet, some extra paper, a pencil, someone to interview

Why was this day so special to you?

Extra! Extra! As a bonus, when you’ve finished your interview, write a story and draw a picture of their

favorite day to give as a keepsake!


Captain Underpants’ Epic WORD Game WHAT’S the word?

What you’ll need: A pencil and two copies of this activity sheet (one for your opponent and one for yourself)

How to play: Each person chooses a secret 5-letter word and writes it down in the space at the top of their paper. Make sure to keep your word secret! Take turns guessing each other’s secret words. To begin the game, write down your word guess in the space provided and say it aloud. If your word guess is right—you win! If your guess is wrong, your opponent tells you if any letters in your word guess are correct. Be sure to use the letters you got right in your next guess. The first one to guess an opponent’s secret word wins!

80-HD’s Fun With Paper I’m a Big Fan!

What you’ll need: Paper, scissors, tape or pipe cleaner, a flat surface

What to do: Follow the instructions below to make a fan. Secure it together with tape or a pipe cleaner. Then, cut out the characters from the next page. Stand each character up by taping the ends of the side tabs together to form a ring.

How to play: Can you help Dog Man and his friends get to their big interview on time? Stand the characters up at one end of a table. Use the fan to gently blow them from one position on the table to another. Want a bigger challenge? Race the clock or mark off a smaller area for the characters to end up in.
