Forest Ridge takes out top awardAS Forest Ridge celebrates its 15th birthday,
developer Heritage Pacifi c has been given more reasons to smile with the premier
planned community voted Australia’s best residential community.
The award-winning developer received the accolade at the 2008 Property Council of Australia Innovation and Excellence Awards recently, cementing its fl agship master planned community as the best in the country.
Spread over 335 hectares, it’s not surprising Forest Ridge has received such praise with its idyllic surrounds and more than 60 hectares of dedicated open space.
The family-friendly community has been designed to encourage time together outdoors with every home within 400 metres of parklands which are linked by walking and cycle trails.
Perfectly positioned in the Narangba Valley between Brisbane’s CBD and the Sunshine Coast, Forest Ridge is an easy commute to the city or the coast.
But one doesn’t have to leave if they don’t want to with fi rst-class facilities within the community including child care, primary and secondary schools, an 18 hectare sports and recreation complex and the Narangba Shopping Centre.
Already 1600 families call the community home with the eventual population to be around 5000 at completion.
Forest Ridge project manager Jeremy Bell said recent research showed that a large percentage of purchasers at Forest Ridge chose the community because of the location and amenities.
“People are time poor, they don’t want to be driving long distances to shops or schools and at Forest Ridge they have everything at their doorstep, including a selection of parks and walking trails,” he said.
“Our community is made up of young families and families with older children with a mix of locals and people moving from the inner northern suburbs of Brisbane, so we are catering for people all with varying needs.”
To coincide with the community’s 15th birthday, Heritage Pacifi c has released the latest stage in its prestigious Creekside precinct, marking the fi rst land release in Forest Ridge in six months.
Buyers will have a choice of homesites ranging between 600sq m and 1083sq m with prices starting from just $209,900.
Many of the homesites available overlook natural parkland and a select few will adjoin the beautiful habitat of the revegetated Burpengary Creek.
Mr Bell said Heritage Pacifi c also boasts an award- winning home team who design and construct new homes within the Forest Ridge community.
“Extensive research tells us that high on the list of priorities for our potential purchasers is a large under roof outdoor entertaining area and the design and layout of the kitchen. We recognise this and our team of designers put this feedback into practise,” he said.
Calling Australia’s best residential community home has never been easier with homes priced between $482,900 and $523,900 with two homes available adjoining native parkland and a further three completed and ready to move into.
