IntroductionTe basic idea o this project is the production o boxes or the many Battlelore materials, which canbe reproduced as simple as possible by everyone. Apart rom scissors, adhesive and a bit o time youonly need some sheets o photo paper.with at least 250 g/m. Te best results I achieved with semi-glossy paper.

o keep reproduction as simple as possible this document contains some illustrated guidances or theindividual box types. You dont have to make everything exactly the same way as I did, eel ree to addchanges where possible.

Im looking orward to any kind o eedback, since the boxes sure-ly arent perect ([email protected]). I you nd any errorsin design, anything not useable in daily use, i youmiss anything or just have an idea or improve-ment or new boxes, then let me know (andeel ree to tell me about any lingu-istic deects because this project wastranslated by non-native speakers).

o the german Battlelore orum, whowere inspired about the rst boxesin a way that I nally decided to pu-blish these annotated collection.

Regarding the photos included inthis document: Since I have onlybuilt the german version o the bo-xes, it wasnt possible to add photoso the english boxes, I hope, you

dont bother. O course all printsheets contain the english versions!

Card boxesGeneral references

Print desired artworks (docsI.1 1.4) and cut on all thesolid lines o the printout.Now, old all the dashed lines(i necessary use a ruler). Sub-sequently, at the designated

place glue the box, close bot-tom o the box (you can alsoglue it shut), ll in the cards,close the lid, complete!

I the lid should close or openbadly, cutting o the designa-ted corners helpsand youwont see it aterwards.

References to the boxSpecialist cards

Te box is available in two versions. Version one shows the specialist cards back originally plannedby DoW(doc I.3), which diers clearly rom the deployment cards. Unor-

tunately this changed in urther process, so that version two o thecard box (doc I.4) shows the meanwhile ocial card back o

the specialist cards (identically to the deployment cards).Since I preer version one (its more beautiul in my

opinion), you can nd both versions here.

Te box isnt completely lled, so it looksa little pressed in. In uture, there will bemore specialists, I think. Otherwise, i youreas ussy as me, you may ll up the box withblank cards. Just print out the blank cards(doc I.5), cut the cards out and ll the box.

Material boxesType 1 Broad Card Box

Te box is build exactly as the card boxes, however in addition you have to glue the bottom shut. Iyou dont like the white bottom inside, you have ollowing options:

I you use singlesided photo paper: Separately print the chest shaped wooden structure1. (doc II.5 )on cardboard or photo paper, then cut walls and bottom individually and glue them inside, whichalso increases stability.

I you use doublesided photo paper: Just print the rectangular wooden structure2. (doc II.6) on theback o o the material box beore cutting.

Type 2 Hexagon Box

Attention, a bit more difcult to create!

Tis guidance reers to the errain iles Box, the two Battle Packboxes or the play material are exactly the same, they are just a littlebroader and the wall strengthenings are printed separately(docs II.7

II.11).Te hexagon box consists o several parts: An upper hal (cover), alower hal (bottom) andor the increase o stability and or con-necting the two partsvarious inner walls. As the card boxes, cut onall the solid lines and old the dashed ones.

Te ollowing sequence creating the box proved as good (you willdo well i you spread all parts completely with adhesives, stick themtogether and then clasp or weight this connection until the glue isdried beore advancing to the next step):

Print cover1. (doc II.1) and cut it out. Use one o the rectangularwall strengthenings (doc II.1) as hinge.

Glue one hal o the hinge at the inner side o the wall without2.fap (the other hal is later used to glue the bottom to it).

Glue box with help o the small white faps.3.

Glue both hexagon strenghtenings and second rectangular4.strengthening inside the box.

Print bottom5. (doc II.2), cut it out and glue (see step 3). Glue the two hexagon strengthenings and

the last rectangular wall strengthening in place (spare back o the wall with the contents or thehinge fap).

Stick both halves with the help o the hinge fap (see step 2) together.6.

Command & Lore Card Deposit

Print artworks (docs III.4 & III.5) andi desired and you use doublesided photo paperprint thewooden structure (doc III.6) on each back (prevents the white back rom gleaming through, althoughit means wasting some ink).

Cut along the black solid lines, old the black dotted lines outwards and the red dotted lines inwards.Ten glue the parts olded together in turn (1, 2, 3, as shown in the illustration) according to thegreen reerence. Be sure to x the small faps between the back boards (3). Finally cut along the bluelines.

Te nished card deposit still isnt very stable, its better i you stick it on a cardboard with about 900g/m (or at least another sheet o photo paper). You can use the cardboard o a sketch-block. Put thenished box on it, outline it on the cardboard, cut it with ruler and cutter knie (its dicult withshears), glue box on it, nished. I you dont like the grey edge o the cardboard just take a elt-tip penwhich matches the colour best.
