BBC Television Equality and Diversity Action Plan 2014-15 BBC Television is responsible for commissioning, producing and scheduling BBC One, Two, Three and Four as well as original content online and on i-Player. BBC Television is funded by just over a third of the licence fee, in return, our audiences receive a multimedia powerhouse which is unique globally. That funds some 15,200 hours of original drama, comedy, entertainment and factual programming each year. Last year, 99.6% of the UK watched at least 15 min of BBC TV. BBC One alone reached 75.4% of the UK population on average each week, making it the widest reaching channel in the country.
