As a Six Sigma Black Belt, you will implement and drive the Six Sigma quality breakthrough methodology within the McKesson Canada Specialty group. You will lead and coach teams in the use of Six Sigma tools and processes, serve as a change agent and problem solver, with the assistance of the projects Business Owner, Champion and Master Black Belt. You will drive Six Sigma initiatives to successful completion and translate business strategies and imperatives into project opportunities to significantly improve our ability to meet customer expectations, reduce costs and increase profits. Specific Duties Duties and responsibilities generally include but are not limited to: -Manage process improvement projects to produce tangible results for the business and customers. -Engage with champion, Master Blackbelt, business/process owners to establish and meet financial and customer service goals. -Maintain open communication throughout the functional area and the organization. -Uncover and assess Six Sigma opportunities within the Specialty group. Foster continuous improvement culture and promote Six Sigma values within functional area. -Implement and drive the Six Sigma quality breakthrough methodology within the clinical and business solutions teams. -Develop robust process control plans to ensure sustained improvements. -Lead and coach teams in the use of Six Sigma tools and methodology. -Act as a change agent and problem solver with the assistance of the projects Business Owner, Champion and Master Blackbelt. -Mentor and coach Greenbelts in project work, supporting and driving the use of Kaizen, Lean and Six Sigma tools necessary for successful and timely completion of their projects. Requirements -University degree in business, engineering, science/pharmacy or related areas preferred. -Three (3) plus years experience in business improvement process. -Proven experience in one or more of the following areas: retail pharmacy operations, call centre environment, clinical trials, pharma distribution, inventory management. -Financial acumen: ability to calculate cost benefit analysis and ROI. Must be able to build and justify business case. -Experience in Change Management. -Strong knowledge of MS Office and database management tools (including Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Visio). -Preferably bilingual English-French. -Knowledge of pharmaceutical industry is an asset. -Black Belt training, Lean and/or Kaizen expertise an asset. -Proven leadership and interpersonal skills. -Team player. -Ability to motivate, influence and coach. -Ability to gain commitment at all levels of the organization & defend findings to management. -Strong analytical skills and ability to synthesize. -Strong facilitation, written and oral communication skills both in English and French. -Ability to solve problems. -Strong project management and organizational planning skills. -Ability to gather and present findings and provide viable solutions.
