projects. – Our divisions include: Demolition, Investment Recovery, Industrial and
Environmental work activities.
• We have been in business for over 8 years with the primary focus on the Gulf Coast– We have also provided services to Trinidad, Aruba, Central and the East
Coast of the U.S.

SAFETY CULTURE
• Safety is not considered a priority that can be shifted depending on the demands of the situation, rather a value linked with every task.
• We believe total employee involvement in the planning and execution process is essential to achieving the highest level of safety performance.

Task Planning Process • Job Safety Analysis (JSA) (JHA) (SPA) (est.)
– Segregated and itemized one issue at a time.
– Confirmed systems were being utilized.
– Additional reminders / end of shift check list.
– Comments and concerns were available to be expressed.
FIRST ISSUE ADDRESSED
Not verifying that the work crew acknowledged the following:– Client specified safety requirements or forms.
– Understanding permit requirements and additional preparations prior to work.
SECOND ISSUE ADDRESSED
Ensuring employees knew & understand critical hazards such as:
– Fall protection plan
– Confined Space Entry
– Lock Out Tag Out Process
– Concerning issues / Hold points
TRADITIONAL JSA PROBLEMS
Traditional Job Hazard Analyses were designed with three main things in mind:– What task are you about to perform? – What tools & equipment will be used during the process? – What mitigation or elimination steps will be taken into consideration to resolve each
hazard as the task is executed?
Problems:– Employees were expected to write a narrative explaining a step by step process.
– Additional tools and equipment. – Additional task or change in task.
What does this create?– Confusion for field auditors, new employees to the crew, est.
ADDITIONAL MODIFICATIONS
Supplementary add-ons: – Housekeeping taken into consideration.
– Confirming our buddy system was being utilized.
– Establishing a last minute / end of shift check list.
– Ensuring incident reporting.
– Comment and concerns are available to be expressed.
