Details for Battle for Veterans pre-Labor Day Event Loomis, Calif. (Aug 1, 2012) – The third annual Battle for Veterans, a three day, pre-Labor Day event, kicks off on August 23rd and will honor veterans serving in all armed forces with an 'Evening of Honor' dinner, two inspiring keynote addresses at Adventure Church in Roseville, California ending with a two day football Invitational.
The US Marines prepare for Battle - 2003 Iraq. The Battle for Veterans supports all veterans. Battle for Veterans' 'Evening of Honor' dinner and football invitational will offer unique entertainment, military flyovers/demonstrations and touching reflections from our wounded veterans. Don’t forget some great competition from some of the best high school football teams in the state of California! "It's an honor to participate in such a
unique concept," says Event Director "Coach Mark Soto", who has three sons in the military. "It encourages our entire community to 'have a heart' and embrace such a worthy cause." During the weekend of August 24th-25th, several local teams will compete in the 'Battle for Veterans High School Football Invitational' at Del Oro High School in Loomis. Southern California powerhouse teams Westlake, Oaks Christian and Thousand Oaks will all be there to Battle it out! Advance ticket purchases are highly encouraged for all events.
