The Bastrop Chamber of Commerce Mission StatementThe mission of the Bastrop Chamber of Commerce is to improve the economy of Bastrop and thereby,

the quality of life for all its citizens through economic, community, and leadership development.

Bastrop IS special…and this year’s Lost Pines Christmas cel-ebration Dec. 8 through 11 will once again demonstrate the point.

The community is pulling out all stops to celebrate the season and to welcome visitors to one of Texas’ most historic places, a National Trust “Distinctive Destination”, a Texas Certified “Scenic City” and home of the famous “Lost Pines”, a heritage that lives on despite the massively damaging September fires.

Over the course of four days, more than 20 community orga-nizations, local businesses and churches will be hosting cumula-tively more than 30 activities in this annual event: n The visual arts: check out extraordinary local artists in the Art Guild’s Winter Market and Show daily.
