PROBLEM: House is not suited for a PV array.
•Roofs are not facing due south;
•House is designated as a contributing structure in an historic district;
•Solar panels are not aesthetically compatible with an historic house.
![Page 3: Bass Residence Solar PV Project](https://reader034.vdocuments.us/reader034/viewer/2022042814/555571b4b4c9058a5a8b4b2c/html5/thumbnails/3.jpg)
SOLUTION: Relocate a Tobacco Barn to the site to serve as a PV platform
• Barn can be placed facing due south for optimal orientation;
• No shading issue;
• South side of roof is not visible from the historic house.
