    Basic Rules of Throw ball.

    Playing Area / Dimensions of the court:

    The Court: Length 18. ! " Breath 1#.#! meters.The Net : $eight %ft.

    The Box : 1.& mts from centre line on both si'es.

    Service Area : The parallel area away from the end line on either sides of the court,

    covering half of the playing area on the right side.

    Players Position :

    a. The position of the players in the court shall e as follows.

    f. The same rotation position order of the players should e maintained through outthe set however rotation position order of the players can e changed for any

    suse4uent sets y informing the referee. But in the deciding set, no change in theposition order of players when they change the side at "( points.g. 5uring service, players should e in their respective positions. 6f the players of

    the receiving team are not in the respective position, the serving team will e

    awarded a point and if the player of the serving team is not in the respectiveposition the team will loose the service. 6n case players of oth teams are not in

    their respective position a common all may e given and the service will e

    given to the earlier server.

    h. The all should e served using palm of any hand from aove the shoulder levelin one course of action.

    i. The service should e executed within * seconds soon after the referee lows the

    whistle from the service area without touching the end line of the playing area. 6fthe service is made efore the whistle the player will e warned and if it is

    repeated a point will e awarded to the opponent and the service also will e lost.

    7. No service all should touch the net if this happens a point will e awarded to theopponent.

    second touch is not allowed.

    l. The service all, if falls on all the lines of the playing area will e considered as

    good all $i.e. right all' ut the service all should not fall on the ox line or in

    the ox.m. Tossing or driling the all after the whistle is not allowed.

    Ball in Play:

    a. A player should not ta-e more than one step to return the all. 6f this happens itwill e called as movement.

    . A player shall receive the all with oth hands ut should return the all with only

    one hand.

    c. A player can receive the all on a 7ump, ut when returning, the player shouldhave contact with the ground either way. $ i.e receiving with contact with the

    ground and returning on a 7ump once any way.'

    d. No player during play should touch the ox lines.

    e. A all in rally $except service all ', if slipped or droped y any player $notdelierately' efore touching the ground can e pic-ed y any player of the other

    players and returned to the opposite court. 6f a all during rally touches the netcan e received on the reound y one player and returned to the opponent y the

    same player who received the all. /assing or pushing the all is not allowed.

    f. Releasing: Ball should e released 8 Thrown y the player aove the shoulderlevel, only the player receiving the all at any level should ring the all to

    shoulder and then release the all, this should happen within ( seconds in one

    course of action.

    Ball in or (ut :

    a. Any all on any line of the playing area is a right all $except ox line'.. Any all that falls into the ox and on the ox line is a dead all.

    c. Any all that touches the ground outside the playing area, without touching the

    players is considered as an out all.

    Ball $an'ling :

    a. Doubles: 9olding the all simultaneously not y oth hands is not allowed, ifthis happens it is called doules.

    . )lash: /ulling or catching the all delierately y two or more players is not

    allowed if this happens it is called as clash.c. Ta**ing: Tapping of the all delierately y the player is not allowed.

    d. Pushing:/ushing of the all y players is not allowed.

    e. Bo'y Touch: hile throwing or returning, the all should not touch any part ofthe ody, if this happens it is called a ody touch.

    f. +hifting: The player should return the all from the same side on which the

    player received the all. Changing the side from right to left or left to right while

    the all in hand is not allowed, if this happens it is called a shift.

    g. Delay: Any player during play should not retain the all more than ( seconds.

    ;eceiving and returning of the all y the player should e of one course of

    action and all this should e completed within the ( seconds time.h. Rolling:;olling or 7uggling the all is not allowed.

    All the abo,e faults committe' by the *layer of either team will loose a *oint.

    -eneral Rules :

    a. All matches will e played on est of three sets only.

    . one.d. aximum of * minutes shall e permitted as rest period etween two sets.
