WARHAMMER 40K KILL TEAM LAUNCH DATE: VARIES INITIATION CODE: 7B6452833 LAST UPDATE: 03.01.2017 AdeptiCon reserves the right to modify, update, clarify, or change event rules in the interest of making AdeptiCon the best event possible. FAQ updates will follow the Codex window closes. BASIC RULES Each player spends up to 200 points on their Kill Team from a single Codex or Codex Supplement while adhering to the following Kill Team detachment rules: 0-2 Troops 0-1 Elite 0-1 Fast Attack Furthermore, the following restrictions apply: A Kill Team must include at least 4 models A kill Team cannot include models with more than 3 wounds or hull points A Kill Team cannot include any vehicles with a combined Armor Value of 33 (add front, side and rear values) A Kill Team cannot include Flyers A Kill Team cannot include models with a 2+ save A Kill Team cannot include more than one Faction Players must nominate a non-vehicle model in their Kill Team as their leader per the Kill Team rules. This leader must be noted on your Kill Team roster. Players must also nominate 3 other non-vehicle models in their Kill Team to be specialists per the Kill Team rules. These specialists must be noted on your Kill Team roster. Codices, Codex Supplements and Warhammer 40K Campaign Supplements that are released prior to March 11th, 2017 will be allowed in this event. Apocalypse War Zone supplements, Apocalypse Formations, Forge World army lists and material from the Horus Heresy books WILL NOT be allowed in this event. Unique units, Data Slates, Fortifications, Lords of War, Imperial Armor Units (Forge World) will NOT be in used in this event. A printed army list is required for the judges and each of your opponents (minimum of 6 copies required). Each army list MUST contain the following details: Player Name, Faction in use, Kill Team Leader, Kill Team Specialists and their special rules. The Warhammer 40,000 7 th Edition Rules and all relevant Games Workshop Errata and FAQs will be used. In the case of a conflict between printed and digital versions, the most recent update or FAQ will take precedence. The AdeptiCon 2017 Warhammer 40K Rules Addendum and FAQ will be used to resolve additional rules disputes. Please use the AdeptiCon Warhammer 40K FAQ Submission Form to submit any questions concerning this event. Each player must bring a Warhammer 40,000 rulebook, the most currently published rules for all units represented in their army and all materials needed to play a game/report the results - including dice, measuring devices, templates, and a writing implement. All players are expected to abide by the AdeptiCon Conduct Policy. The models used in your army must comply with the AdeptiCon Model Policy (all models MUST be WYSIWYG and 3- colors). If illegal units or rules violations are found in a player's list, at a minimum, the models in violation will be removed from all subsequent play. Tournament points may be deducted and award eligibility may be forfeited. AdeptiCon Tournament Judges' and Officers' rulings are final and arguments or poor conduct by players will not be tolerated. AdeptiCon reserves the right to remove players from the event or AdeptiCon itself with no refunds allowed.
