LENSES – the luminaire system of the future
With LENSES, RIDI has created a luminaire ideally suited for the office environment.
Available as a pendant, floor-standing, surface mounted or recessed luminaire, it
offers all the scope needed to create the perfect lighting conditions in and around the
office and workplace. The main component of this luminaire family is a lens array
comprising four rows of lenses to guarantee glare-free working. The base profile
made of aluminium guarantees absolute stability. The lens array comes in three
different lengths (224 mm, 504 mm and 728 mm). By arranging the lens arrays in
rows, different luminaire lengths can be created. Integrated central elements in
different lengths accommodate the optional sensors.
In all the available variants, the electrical components are accommodated inside
the luminaire. The LENSES-P can be mounted directly on the ceiling without the
need for a canopy using a Y-shaped wire pendant. The floor-standing luminaire
has a touchpanel for lighting control with an optional USB charging port.
The ceiling variant in a surface mounted or recessed version completes the
available range. A complete luminaire family, LENSES offers enormous scope
for lighting design.
The modular series enables architects and lighting system planners to ideally adjust
the luminaires to the room layout.

F-EDGE

F-EDGE is an addition to the established F-LINE family with all the scope
and dimen sional freedom afforded by the use of LED technology.
The high-grade RIDI LED modules provide illumination from the edge for
even, homogenous lighting. A matt opal panel creates highly diffuse
illumination in the room. A nanostructured film is used to achieve lighting in
conformity with VDU workplace legislation.
The materials and dimensions of the luminaire housing are equivalent
to those of the F-LINE family. The electrical components are integrated
in the luminaire housing, which is just 25 mm high and features a
seamless underside.
The luminaire is designed for direct ceiling or pendant mounting. It is
supplied with direct lighting only and the option for an indirect component.
Using the relevant luminaire connector, mounting is possible as a
continuous lighting system, and optionally available L, T and X-shaped
connectors can be used to create lighting constructs.

Encasing the internal technical components, the housing
of Plafou made of highly transparent plastic seems to
radiate from the inside outwards. The perfect symbiosis of
material, form and function, this luminaire provides a
lighting solution which is both exciting and enchanting.
Its precision lighting technology is reflected in its design.
The high light output ratio makes for outstanding
economy. Precisely engineered microprism surface and
glare protection to restrict reflection on VDU screens
make for a perfectly homogenous working light on the
user level. The luminaire is equipped with an integrated
insect guard in transparent PMMA. Simple cleaning is
possible without the use of tools.

RIDI LINIA LED is taking the familiar RIDI LINIA continuous
lighting system to a new level with a solution that is fast,
simple, reliable and totally variable – all without the need for
tools! On the basis of the tried and tested continuous lighting
system, the LED gear trays have now been added to the
flexible modular concept to create a range of high-efficiency
lighting elements.
The gear tray can be mounted in any optional position in the
trunking with variable spacing, and can also be combined with
VLM modules within the continuous lighting system (Spotlights,
sockets, emergency lighting, sensors, ...).
The toolless mounting process used to insert the gear tray in
the trunking serves the double function of electrical contacting
and mechanical fixture using the tried and tested RIDI quick-
release catch (VLG-T16, VLSG-T16) or stable clamps (VLG-F).
Both solutions provide a secure hold in case of fire.

RIDI LINIA continuous lighting system – Trunking VLT and accessories
Design: Trunking for surface and pendant mounting. Rigid, profiled trunking made of galvanized steel, artificial resin coated white(similar to RAL 9016) on both sides. The trunking is available in a one, two or three-length version. Pre-punched knockouts areprovided at the top at both ends for cable infeed.
Through wiring: Open through wiring designed to permit variable take-off at any optional location.
Mounting: The trunking elements can be mounted and assembled using fixing accessories. Junction points (not ball-resistant)are available for creating continuous lighting system configurations. The trunking must be completely closed using gear trays ordummy covers.

Design: LED gear tray made of sectional extruded aluminium, powder coated white. RIDI LED linear modules fitted with mid-power LEDs for outstanding efficiency, light colour 840 (4000 Kelvin). Operating in conformity with SELV, the boards are pressedover their entire surface onto the aluminium base profile for optimum heat dissipation. Soldered joints of the LED modules aretested for cavities and resistance to vibration and torsion in compliance with the most stringent quality standards. No thermalcoupling between the LED modules and converters. Service life L80B50 at 50,000h. Linear optics with wide beam light distribution made of clear, UV-stabilised PMMA integrated flush in the gear tray. End caps made of thermoplastic for conformity with IP54 protection rating. The width of the gear tray is identical to the trunking.Spring steel clips for fixture of the gear tray in the trunking VLT. Can be combined withlight diffuser VLDD.

Design: Batten for surface and pendant mounting. Rigid steel profiled luminaire housing made of sheet steel, coated white (similar to RAL 9016) on both sides. The construction of recessed louvre luminaires has long been a
tradition at RIDI. On the basis of this wealth of experience, a whole
range of practically-oriented modular luminaire series have been
developed for almost all ceiling constructions. This applies equally to
the adjustment of luminaires to ceilings produced by local craftsmen
and also to industrially manufactured ceiling systems.

Design: Recessed single LED luminaire for modular ceilings 600 x 600. Stable luminaire housing in white powder-coated steel(similar to RAL9016). Diffuser held in the luminaire housing with spring catches, hinges down on both sides with automatic connection to the earth conductor. LED module formed as a circuit board. Mid-power LEDs ensure even illumination and maximumefficiency. Total luminous flux of the LED modules 5200 lm, colour rendering index CRI>80, colour temperature 4000 Kelvin (...-840), other colour temperatures possible on request. LED driver prefitted in luminaire housing. Operation at safety extra-lowvoltage below 60 Volt (SELV-conformity).

Due to their small luminaire body, surface-mounted
downlighters are ideal for use in applications where
linear luminaires offer insufficient directional neutrality
and are consequently a less attractive lighting option.
Particularly in geometrically irregular multi-sided rooms,
downlighters represent the ideal option.
The versatile LED recessed downlighters open up whole
new perspectives. EDLR is the latest generation of
RIDI LED recessed downlighters. Designed with passive
cooling, it comes in a range of diameters for different
applications.
They supply clear, brilliant light in 3,000 or 4,000 Kelvin.
The downlighters can be used without the need for any
additional accessories and transformed using a wide
selection of decorative trims.

The LED display light RLS1 is a true power pack in a
compact design. The solid housing made of die-cast
aluminium complies with luminaire protection rating IP65.
The RLS1 shows that there is no need to dispense with
good design even in industrial applications.
Its contemporary look is defined by generously
dimensioned cooling fins which ensure safe, efficient
heat dissipation.
Its inner qualities are impressive too: the hard
exterior shell packs up to 16,000 lumen. The LED-
COB module is covered by a durable glass lens.
The electrical components are integrated in the
