PROBLEMS effecting the GROWTH of education in
RURAL INDIA
Basic Infrastructure…
• Solid walls and a roof
• No proper seats or desks
• No toilets
• No reliable electricity
Teaching facilities…• Over a third of our schools are single teacher schools
• If the teacher is i l l or absent, school is closed.
• Classroom has students who are supposed to study in
different grades/standards with different textbooks.
• Teachers in rural educational centres in villages are paid
poorly
• Lack of attention by teachers
Lack of proper transportation…
• Poor connectivity from one place to another
• Most of the time children's have to walk miles
• children demotivated to attend school on a regular basis because of distance.
Attitude…• Don’t promote girl education
• More priority given to work than education
• Spending behind education is treated more like a liability
and not investment
• Lack of awareness about the changing society
• Less motivation
Solution…
