The cool thing about Base Camp is that as campers get older, moving through Pathfinders, Trailblazers and then Mountaineers, the experiences and activities get progressively more adventurous, skill-based, and exciting! Base Camp ultimately transitions right into Adventure Camp.

Events for All Ages

Adventure Camp is designed for our older campers ages 14-18. Campers stay in our awesome Adventure Village, sleeping in

platform tents and enjoying the outdoors. All of these camps include off-camp overnights and excursions such as rock climbing, back-packing,

rafting and mountain biking. Campers are also challenged to work toward a higher level of skill in activities such as survival, archery, or boating as well as grow and develop both in their faith and leadership.

The Guide Program is our totally redesigned and improved, three-week student leadership program! As a Guide, you will

learn what it takes to be a leader, grow in your faith, have awe-some adventures, and be stretched in fantastic new ways. This is an unmatched opportunity to grow personally, gain great experience for the future, have extreme fun, and the perfect step to someday working as a counselor at the Heights! Bringing Kids Closer to Christ in the Rocky Mountains!

Our purpose is to make and deepen disciples of Jesus Christ, and to boldly present the Gospel

of Jesus Christ to young people through innovative, relevant, and high-quality camping experiences. It is

our desire and hope that each camper that comes to the Heights will take steps closer to Christ.

Week 2 – DiscoverA solid week of off-camp trips, both over-night and day trips. Summit mountains, back-packing, climbing, back-country camping, and other excellent outdoor adventures.

Week 3 – ServeServe as a junior counselor with one of our senior counselors as you continue to take steps in your own faith and lead younger campers to grow in their faith.

Week 1 – Grow Prepare and lead Bible studies, serve around camp, experience some staff training, be introduced to the basics of summer camp programming, and have tons of fun getting to know the other Guides!

Big Sunday June 23An afternoon filled with family fun, activities, and our famous roast beef and pig feast.

Work & Worship May 24-26Celebrate Memorial Day Weekend in Estes Park and put feet on your faith helping camp prepare for the busy summer season.
