Principal’s Message Sister School I am very excited to announce that we have a formal Sister School arrangement with Kardinia International College. This will open some exciting reciprocal opportunities for both schools. I look forward to sharing more information about this initiative as we work together on our first steps. Planning for 2019 We are beginning our planning for 2019 and I am asking parents/carers to let me know if there will be any changes to their child’s schooling. Further, if parents/carers would like to contact me to discuss their child’s placement next year, please give me a call. Anne Hume Principal

Knitted Sensory Blankets Many thanks to Olivera and her ‘team ’ of very talented knitters at Wintringham Specialist Aged Care for donating some knitted sensory blankets for our students to use.
Geelong Show Art Display Congratulations to students and staff involved with our display at the Geelong Show. If you are at the Show make sure you go and see our display - it looks fantastic
Just a few pointers for parents/carers when filling out the Student Transport form in this year’s enrolment package:
1. It asks if you reside within the designated transport area. Please indicate ‘yes’ as grandfather clause is covering those students who don’t
2. It asks if your child is on the PSD Program? All the students at BVS are on the PSD program
3. It asks if you have completed an Individual Travel Plan. The teachers do these for the students in conjunction with parents, bus staff and BVS Student Transport Coordinator.
4. It asks if your child has been granted access to the SDTP on the basis of an exemption. No students are in this category
5. It asks for funding level - please skip this question
