AED refresher classes during the fellowship time in the
Fellowship Hall on June 1st and 8th. (9:30 – 10:50)
Dear Friends, Colleagues, and fellow seekers:
Holly and I send our hearty thank you for the reception on April 27 and the beautiful gifts you presented to Holly and me. The lovely flowers are hanging where we see them often and they remind us of you. We will go to Zona Rosa soon and your generous gift will bring to memory that fine day and of the good work you and I did together. The time with you has become a good and strong memory for me. You are a congregation with a warm and caring heart and I am glad to have been a part of your journey if only for a short time.
Be assured that I will stay in touch and aware of your witness to the Gospel. My prayers always include your decisions, your leaders, and your life as a congregation of believers.
Thanks again to all of you, to your leaders and to the staff of Barry Christian Church. God bless you with courage, grace and most of all, With Love.

Double your pleasure as we celebrate the art of the duet. From love songs to lovers' quarrels this revue is built for two. You'll enjoy favorites from Lerner & Loewe, Irving Berlin and also some of the best contemporary tunes written for two.
Gail sent a note to Katelyn (our previous choir director) asking her how things are for her and her family in their new adventure of life. I asked her if she wouldn't mind sending a couple of photos and she sent us a happy reply and said I could share it. We wish the best for Katelyn, Jason, Shepard, Georgina & Miriam! From Katelyn:
I am doing well! Miriam (on the left ) and Georgina will be nine months next week! Isn't that crazy? Shepard is now FOUR! We are doing just fine. I don't do much more than just care for my brood but that's ok. I miss my choir!! I know Vigthor is doing wonderful things. He and his little family are the best kind of people. Please give everyone my love.
And speaking of children:
Children’s Music Practice
This Sunday 5/25 - The children will sing from 9:10 - 9:30
The children's singing instruction is going really well. The children are having a wonderful time improving their musical literacy and learning songs of our faith each Sunday morning. Our new summer schedule
will bring some timing changes, so mark your calendar.
For the month of June, the children will not sing (due to Vigthor's vacation).
For the months of July and August, the children's singing will be from 9:30 - 9:50 during fellowship time.
See you there!

If we allow the accretions of tradition to pile up a
definition of a pastor, what do we get? A popular
survey has determined that the ideal pastor is 28
years old and has been preaching for 35 years.
She has one brown eye and one blue. He parts his
hair in the middle: blond and wavy on the left side,
brown and straight on the right. She has a burning
desire to be with teenagers and spends all her
time with older folk. He makes sixteen calls a day
upon church members and is always in the office
to counsel or just to visit. She challenges and in-
spires but never disturbs the status quo. He con-
demns sin but never embarrasses anyone.
