Never a dull moment. Such was the occasion yesterday (Monday). My neighbor (chaffeur) took a friend and I on a tour in the country area, up to the new Dollar Store on North Hill, to an eating place, then played cards to finalize the day.

In my interesting cookbook I just purchased, I found an interesting recipe for noodles: Take one egg, a pinch of salt, half an egg shell full of water. Stir in all the flour it will take. Roll as thin as pos-sible. Hang over a chair back on a napkin to dry, then roll up like a jelly cake and slice off as thick as a wafer. Cook 15 to 10 minutes.
