and currently enrolls over 50

thousand students each year.

university in Barcelona.

CLASSROOM AND CAFETERIA

Courses are held at the Casa Convalescencia

within the grounds of the Hospital de la Santa Creu

i Sant Pau and which represents one of Catalonia's

latest samples of the region's Art Nouveau and

Modernist movements.

HOUSING OPTIONS

Homestay:

Homestays are the norm for Spain, and are encouraged by UF. Participants living in

homestays will be provided with three meals per day (except on ISA excursion days) and

laundry service once per week for the official duration of the program. Students usually

share a bedroom with another ISA student, but have the option of paying extra to secure an

individual room.

Residencia:

Residencias are similar to the American dorm style, however, they are not located on a

university campus and are not affiliated with a university. In most cases, students will

share a double room with another student from their program.. There will be a bathroom

inside each room or a bathroom shared per floor, and either a small kitchenette in the

room or a communal kitchen on the floor for students to share. Meals are not included,

and coin-operated laundry machines are available for use within the residencia's laundry

facility.
