It was designed byBarcelona architect Lluis Domenech iMontaner, one of the leadingrepresentatives of Catalan Modernism.The construction was carried outbetween 1905 and 1908, with solutionsin very advanced structure with theapplication of large glass walls and theintegration of all the arts, sculpture,mosaics, stained glass and wrought iron.The building, headquarters of the"Catalan Choral Society", founded in1891 by Llus Millet and Amnadeo Vives,was financed by Catalan industrialistsand financiers, illustrated and musiclovers, statement that sixty years earlierand had funded the theater of operaand ballet Gran Teatro del Liceo.In 1997 UNESCO included the buildingon the relationship of Heritage. 3.
