mother, and grandfather.

• Studied at Occidental College for twoyears.

• Transferred to Columbia University,

graduating with a degree in political

science.• Moved onto Harvard University,

graduating with great praise.

Influence on the World

• Overhauled the Food Safety System.• Ended “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell.”

• Expanded and created a universally free

medical care system (Obamacare).

• Invested in clean, renewable energy.

• Advanced women’s rights in work.

• Eliminated several Al-Qaeda leaders including

Osama Bin Laden, therefore ending the war

in Iraq.

• Prevented the second “Great Depression”

due to the success of his stimulus plan.

Interpretation: Even if people tell you negative

comments about what you’re doing, you should never stop.

Interpretation: To start off with, Obama had huge problems

to fix. He shouldn’t be expected to fix them overnight.

believe twice as much.
