New online uniform store openNow that our new Vestex® protective uniforms are here, you
may be wondering how to order additional scrubs. Go to
www.baptisthospitaluniforms.com to place your order online and receive
your employee discount. You will need to register for an account and
provide your color designation group. If you have any difficulty accessing
the site or setting up an account, email [email protected] .
Soon, you will also be able to order garments through a special Baptist
Health site being developed by allheart.com , the largest online scrub store
in the country. This site will feature shoes, accessories and other products,
along with a line of Vestex uniforms. These products are approved as part
of our uniform policy and will offer additional style options.
Healthy For Life insurance discount Baptist Health is offering the Healthy For Life
insurance discount again in 2015 for benefits-
eligible team members who have our medical
insurance plan. Participants will save $650 per year
on the insurance premium simply by completing
the three steps outlined below. As always, your
information is kept confidential.
1. Complete the online Personal Health Survey (PHS) before attending the
biometric screening. The survey can be completed from home or work.
2. Complete a biometric screening comprised of blood pressure,
cholesterol, glucose and weight. Appointments are required. Screenings
are set for Sept. 3 – Oct. 18.
3. Be a non-tobacco user or attempt to quit.

What you need to know about flu shots this yearFREE flu shots are available to all team members
and volunteers during Healthy For Life insurance
discount screenings and during other designated
times and locations across the system. Check the
Employee Health intranet page or your Employee
Health office for more information.
ALL team members, volunteers, students and
contractors are required to have a flu shot or a valid
medical contraindication or religious exemption on
file. Declining the flu shot for personal reasons is not
acceptable this year. Those with an exemption on file
are required to wear a mask while in patient care areas
during the designated flu season.
Flu shots and exemptions need to be completed by
Nov. 30 or you will not be permitted to work.

Volunteers needed for Web.com TournamentBaptist Health team members will be working the
first-aid tent and two mobile first-aid golf carts at
the Web.com Golf Championship, Sept. 18 – 21, at
Sawgrass Dye’s Valley Course. Five people who are
trained in basic life support are needed for each day
of the tournament. Free parking will be available and
volunteers will receive a tournament shirt as well as
tickets to attend the tournament. To volunteer, contact

Free cycling jersey to first 80 registrants in MS RideThere’s still time to register for the Cycle to the Shore
Ride and receive a free Baptist Health jersey, if you
are among the first 80 who register for the Baptist
Health team. The event will be held Sept. 20 – 21.

Watson Caring Science Institute, offers an exciting
and effective Revitalizing Care program for stress
management. You are invited to attend a HeartMath
Blitz at Baptist Beaches from 10 – 11 am, Thursday,
Oct. 23, in Conference Room C. This one-hour course
serves as an introduction or refresher class.

Baptist Clay Clay Crop Maze to benefit Wolfson Children’sThe Amazing Grace Crop Maze is Oct. 3 – Nov. 8 in
Green Cove Springs. This year, the Crop Maze will
host Wolfson Days over two weekends: Oct. 17 – 18
and Oct. 24 – 25, with proceeds going toward the
purchase of new equipment at the Wolfson Children’s
Emergency Center at Clay. Baptist Health staff will
provide medical first aid throughout the Crop Maze.

Baptist South Safe Sitter class Students, ages 11 – 14, can learn how to be successful
babysitters during the next Safe Sitter class scheduled
for Saturday, Sept. 13, from 8:30 am – 2:30 pm at
Baptist South. Training includes first aid, behavioral
advice, choking rescue techniques for infants and
children, injury management, preventing injuries, safety
for the sitter and babysitting as a business. The class
fee of $45 includes lunch and a training manual. To
