Global Links accepts all men’s and women’s scrubs, including tops and bottoms in all sizes up through XL, as long as they don’t have your own name embroidered on them. Institutional names are acceptable. Scrubs must be clean and in good condition with no rips or stains.

AgeWell Family Caregiver ConnectionMost of us look at upcoming milestones and anticipate
the possibilities. “When I get my degree, I will... “ or
“When the kids leave home, we will...” And on it goes.
But what about aging? How well do you understand
the senior years? Are you prepared? Have you been
thrust into the world of senior care because a loved
one now requires your guidance and help?
Baptist Health provides resources to you, both as an
employee and a member of the community we serve.
The community-wide services are based in the AgeWell
Institute. The resources for employees are consolidated
in the AgeWell Family Caregiver Connection on
the intranet. Visit the AgeWell Family Caregiving
Connection myBHhome.com/agewell within
Employee Experience for updated information,
educational opportunities and an employee-based
discussion board.

Benefits NewsNo co-pay for wellness benefits with Florida BlueJust a reminder: Employees covered by the Baptist
Health medical plan, offered through Florida Blue, do
not have a co-pay for wellness benefits when using
an in-network physician for your annual preventative
visits or screenings, including annual physicals, annual
well woman visits, mammograms, prostate screenings,
immunizations and colonoscopies.
The Florida Blue preventative schedule outlines
the frequency of each covered wellness services
based on age and gender, (for example, how often a
mammogram is covered based on a woman’s age). The
schedule can be found on the intranet in the Employee
Experience section, under the Benefits link. Please note
that if your physician performs services or lab work not
included on the preventive schedule, you may have a
member responsibility for those services.

Baptist Beaches New process for contacting Environmental ServicesThe Environmental Services team has upgraded
their customer service capabilities. In June, they
implemented a 24/7 in-house cellular phone. This
enables them to respond to patient, visitor and
staff concerns and requests much more quickly and
efficiently. Call 627.7893 and an EVS representative
will be happy to assist you. Please remember that this
is a cell phone, so if calling from a hospital phone, you
must first dial 9.
