SAP : Bank Guarantees Configuration
Bank Guarantees are normally two stage transactions i.e
1. When you receive the Bank Guarantees
2. When you receive the payment for which it was issued
The configuration for Bank Guarantees can be done using the T Code B!".
#ou need to assign the G$ accounts for the %pecial G$ &ndicator 'G'.&n tis process you can do it for
Customers or (endors.
&t is a G$ )ccount )ssignment to the *econciliation )ccount that is being assigned the Customer or
(endor master.
When ever a Bank Guarantees is received then we enter the data as noted item. )nd the amountwould be shown as a open item in the Bank Guarantees G$ account.
When the amount is received then in the entry screen for the amount received we also select the
%pecial G$ indicator G so that the +pen &tem gets cleared.
By doing so it would be possible to arrive at the list of the Guarantees open at any point of time.
The steps are as follows :
1.T Code B!" for G$ )ccount )ssignment to the *econciliation )ccount2.T.Code ,- for entering the Bank Guarantees received as /oted &tem.
0.T Code ,2 for Guarantee received from the Customer for the sales invoice. &n the first screen in
the +pen &tem %election segment provide 'G' as the %pecial G$ indicator after providing the
Customer /o.
The system would automatically clear the Guarantees along with the invoice amount.
We will not receive the BG from Customer nor pay to the (endor. as %ecurity there will be eposit
in our bank account.

&n case of delivery fulfilment with customer or after the fi8ed term the entry will be
