What do you think of when you hear, “First Love Living”? Our Bangkok DTS 2011 is on a quest to discover just what these 3 words can mean in our lives. Before the school began we had staff training which was made up of some team-building, good teaching from people like our dear friends Gade Chew & Ian Talbot, and a whole lot of prayer. We entered Bangkok DTS 2011 on August 15th with humble hearts, teachable spirits, and total dependence on God, that if something great was going to come from this school- it would be totally from Him! We, as staff, have the privilege of getting a front row view, and the honor of working together with God to see lives transformed and come into deeper understanding of what First Love Living is all about.

คุณคิดถึงอะไรเมื่อได้ยิน “ดำ รงในรักแรก” ดีทีเอสกรุงเทพฯ 2011 ของเรากำ ลังค้นหาคำ ตอบว่าคำ นี้มีความหมายกับชีวิตเราอย่างไร เริ่มตั้งแต่เมื่อ 3 สัปดาห์ที่ผ่านมา ก่อนที่โรงเรียนจะเริ่มเรามีการฝึกอบรมเจ้าหน้าที่ซึ่งรวมถึงการสร้างความเป็นทีม มีการสอนที่ยอดเยียมจากเพื่อนของเรา เกด ชู และ เอียน ทัลบอท และเต็มไปด้วยการอธิษฐาน ดีทีเอส 2011 เริ่มต้นเมื่อวันที่ 15 สิงหาคม ด้วยหัวใจที่ขอบคุณ วิญญาณที่พร้อมจะเรียน และ พี่งพาพระเจ้าอย่างแท้จริง และหากว่าจะมีบางสิ่งที่ยิ่งใหญ่เกิดขึ้นในโรงเรียนนี้ จะเป็นสิ่งที่มาจากพระเจ้าเท่านั้น เจ้าหน้าได้รับสิทธิพิเศษที่จะยืนอยู่แถวหน้า และได้รับเกียรติที่ได้เป็นผู้ร่วมงานกับพระเจ้าในการที่จะเห็นหลายชีวิตเปลี่ยนแปลง และมาถึงจุดที่เข้าใจอย่างลึกซึ่งถึงคำ ที่ว่า ดำ รงในรักแรก หมายความอย่างไร

FIRST LOVE LIVING

16 Students 8 Nationalities 7 Countries 4 Continents 1 Purpose

to know God & to make Him known

The first week of the school, we welcomed 16 students representing 8 different nationalities. We had 3 days team building with lots of activities & fun, some challenges, but we spent those days learning to trust one another. Many of the students and staff remarked at how good it was to not just learn about how to work together as a team, but to actually do it practically through all the activities, including cooking & walking together & the team building games & challenges.

สัปดาห์แรกของเรา เราต้อนรับนักเรียน 16 คนซึ่งมาจาก 8 ประเทศ เรามีการสร้างความเป็นทีม 3 วันซึ่งมีกิจกรรมมากมายรวมถิงความสนุกสนาน การท้าทายต่าง ๆ แต่เราก็ใช้เวลาทั้ง 3 วันในการเรียนรู้ และไว้วางใจซึ่งกันและกัน ทั้งนักเรียนและเจ้าหน้าต่างก็เห็นว่าเป็นสิ่งดีมากที่จะไม่ใช่แค่เรียนรู้เกี่ยวกับการทำ งานด้วยกันเป็นทีม แต่ที่จะทำ กันจริง ๆ โดยกิจกรรมต่าง ๆ รวมถึงการทำ อาหารด้วยกัน และ เดินทางไกลด้วยกัน และการสร้างความเป็นทีม และ รวมถึงการท้าทายต่าง ๆ

The second week we were blessed to have Heather join us to share on Intercession & hearing the voice of God. What a special time these five days were. Heather has tons of stories from her nearly 25 year’s experience with YWAM, of hearing God’s voice, struggling to know if it is God’s voice, and learning the various ways that God can speak to us. We heard stories that got us excited, and showed us the importance of intercession. We also were shown through the Word, how God has from the beginning sought to speak to His children. We also had some good practical application of this during our times of intercession. By the end of the week, we were both challenged to intercede more and pay attention to His voice, & encouraged that God is speaking to us and wants us to be intercessors for Him. One of our students, felt this call in a very deep way, and has now taken on praying for each of the students and staff & their families. It is such a blessing to see God raising up intercessors of today!

สัปดาห์ที่ 2 เราได้รับพระพรที่มี เฮทเตอร์ มาร่วมแบ่งปันกับเราเรื่อง การอธิษฐานวิงวอน และ การฟังเสียงพระเจ้า เป็น 5 วันที่ยอดเยี่ยมมาก เต็มไปด้วยเรื่องราวต่าง ๆ ที่เล่าให้เราฟังจากประสบการณ์กว่า 25 ปีกับวายแวม ถึงการฟังเสียงพระเจ้า และบางครั้งต้องต่อสู้ความไม่แน่ใจว่าเป็นเสียงพระเจ้าหรือไม่ และเราได้เรียน หลาย ๆวิธีในการที่พระเจ้าทรงตรัสกับเรา เราได้ฟังเรื่องราวที่ทำ ให้เราตื่นเต้น และความสำ คัญของการอธิษฐานวิงวอน และเราได้เรียนรู้ด้วยว่าโดยพระคำ ของพระเจ้าในตอนต้นถึงการที่พระเจ้าตรัสกับลูก ๆ ของพระองค์อย่างไร และมีช่วงเวลาแห่งการนำ ไปประยุกต์ใช้ สุดท้ายของสัปดาห์นี้ เราได้รับการท้าทายให้อธิษฐานวิงวอนมากขึ้น และให้ความสนใจต่อเสียงของพระองค์ และได้รับการหนุนใจว่าพระเจ้าทรงตรัสกับเรา และต้องการให้เราที่จะให้เป็นผู้อธิษฐานวิงวอน นักเรียนของเราคนหนึ่งรู้สึกว่าการทรงเรียกอย่างมาก และตอนนี้ก็เริ่มอธิษฐานสำ หรับนักเรียนแต่ละคน รวมถึงครอบครัว เป็นพระพรมากที่เห็นพระเจ้าทรงยกผู้อธิษฐานวิงวอนในวันนี้ 2

Raising up true Intersessors

The third week just finished, we were blessed to have Sam Sarvis with us, sharing on the Nature and Character of God. We were reminded of God’s faithfulness and how this is an important foundation of God’s character. By the end of the week were learning of God’s Holiness & justice, but were always able to go back to the fact that God is faithful. We were also challenged through some life stories from P’Sam, to remember that God is not only our Husband, friend, & king, but He is also our father. Sam shared stories from his own life of times when He experienced God has father through pain, confusion, sin, & not having anything to offer. He was able to speak with such authority which in turn spoke to the depths of our hearts.

สัปดาห์ที่ 3 เพิ่งจะจบไป เราได้รับพระพรจาก แซม ซาร์วิส ที่มาอยู่กับเราแบ่งปันกับเราในเรื่อง ธรรมชาติ และพระลักษณะของพระเจ้า เราได้รับการเตือนความจำ ถึงความสัตย์ซื่อของพระเจ้า และความสำ คัญของพระลักษณะของพระเจ้า สุดท้ายของสัปดาห์เราได้เรียนรู้ถึงความบริสุทธิ์ และ ความยุติธรรม ของพระเจ้า แต่เราก็ได้โอกาสได้มองย้อนไปถึงความจริงถึงความสัตย์ซื่อ ของพระเจ้า เราได้รับการท้าทายโดยเรื่องราวต่าง ๆจาก พี่แซม ที่จะเตือนเราถึงว่าพระเจ้าไม่ได้เป็นแค่ สามี เพื่อน หรือกษัตริย์เท่านนั้น แต่พระองค์เป็นพระบิดาของเราด้วย พี่แซมได้แบ่งปันเรื่องราวประสบการณ์ชีวิตส่วนตัว เมื่อพระเจ้าเป็นเสมือนพระบิดา โดยผ่านความเจ็บปวด ความสับสน ความบาป และในช่วงที่ไม่มีอะไรที่จะให้ พี่แซมแบ่งปันด้วยสิทธิอำ นาจซึ่งเป็นสิ่งที่สัมผัสจิตใจเรามาก

WE are just 2 weeks away from going on our mini outreach. We are not able to share with you where we are going on outreach due to safety and security issues… but that does not mean we don’t want you to NOT be involved.

We would ask you to join us in prayer especially for the time leading up to the mini outreach, that visas would be gotten for all 24 people going, & for tickets to be purchased that will enable to us to not go beyond our budget!

Please join us in prayer for the rest of the needed finances for students & staff, as well as safety on outreach, and that hearts would be open to receive the good news.
