Some years ago I was rummaging through the internet and came across these fierce illustrated tights. I can’tfor the life of me remember where I stumbled upon it, but the concept is tattooed in my mind. It depicted asmall revolver tucked away in a garter belt, kept to the side. So this is no way original (like all of mycreations it is “borrowed” or shamelessly stolen). It was simple and oh-so-great. This is my version. Usinggoogle image search for old fashioned revolvers and tracing paper I made a fairly eye-pleasing simple pistolthat would make Joan Crawford ca. Johnny Guitar period proud to wear! If memory serves me correctly thepistol was just below the knee, however, once I started placing the pattern I found thigh high was the onlyway to go. Then I could still use the leggings for normal wear and pack my pistol away from the world.

Materials

T-shirt pen, Solid color opaque tights/leggings (higher the den the better)

Step 1 — Arsenal a.k.a list of ingredients

All you need is: T-shirt pen, opaque tights/leggings and a picture of a gun.

Step 2 — Gun setting

Place the pattern at the desired leg height (I wanted mine to be thigh high so it was just barely visible at myskirt, but easily visible if wearing a mini). Pin it down. For added support I placed the cardboard from thetights package underneath, it also kept my thighs away from accidentally permanently marking myself incase I held the pen too long in one place.

Step 3 — Tracing the gun

Trace the pattern making small strokes at a time, since there is no room for error; patience is a virtue.

Step 4 — Tie a Ribbon Around the Old Oak Tree

To mark the garterbelt so it would be roughly level I pinned a ribbon around my thigh, matching the lines infront, as a guideline.

Get ready, set, aim and BANG! You’re all done. Congrats!
