2. 2. The Prodigy The Prodigy hold the true components to being a typical punk band, as well as also containing electronic style within. The first thing that is synonymous with the punk genre is the band's hairstyles. The shaved mohawks and dreadlocks are typically punk associated imagery, with punk bands right back to the Sex Pistols. The clothing is also very synonymous with the punk genre, as well as crossing over into the electronic genre. Finally, the tattoos are most definitely associated with the punk genre, with the entire band having full sleeves of tattoos.
