The event is promoted by Western Lakes under the rules and regulations of the UCI, the Cycling Ireland Federation and those additional rules as decided by the race organisation. The organisers will under no circumstances hold themselves responsible in any way for cycling, motorcycling, motoring or other civil offences. Competitors, race officials and all team officials are obliged to observe the Rules of the Road Traffic Act. All competitors are advised that the roads used for the event are not closed to other traffic. Riders are responsible for their own safety at all times. 2. The race will be handicapped at the discretion on the race director. 3. The Western Lakes cycling center will be the race HQ. Sign-on for all stages except, stage 2a TT which will be at TT start outside the Football grounds of Kilmaine GAA , Results sheets will be available from cycling center HQ and Marrey Bikes. 4. Teams shall be comprised of 4 riders with the 3 best place riders to count in each stage for the team classification. 5. Composite teams are allowed at the discretion of the organiser. 6. Appeal will be decided by the race appeals committee comprised of the race commissaries, the race organiser and the chief judge. 7. All stage winners must make themselves available for presentation at the end of the stage as decided by the race organiser. 8. Start sheet for the time trial will also be posted at HQ and Marrey Bikes, will be based on the reverse placing on GC at the end of stage 2. Yellow jersey off last. All riders will be placed at minute intervals. Orderly line for time trial start will be mandatory and all riders will be controlled inside a line of road bollards at the start line to eliminate blocking the entire roadway. Any riders found contravening this control will be penalised. Riders are also asked to consult the start sheet to find their own start time and not to interfere with the starter. The overall winner will be the rider who completes all the stages, in fastest time which also includes the additional handicap time. 9. Bonus time will be allotted on stage 1 only, as follows 1st place - 5 seconds 2nd place - 3 seconds 3Rd place - 1 second 10. The Green jersey (Kieran Mac Mahon sprints jersey) will be awarded to the rider who scores the most sprint points on the outlined sprints. Points will be awarded for Category 3 climb 3pts for 1st 2pts for 2nd and 1pt for 3rd. Category 2 scores 5,4,3,2,1 on each stage. 12.
