With a Bachelors of Music in Music Education from SUNY Potsdam's Crane School of Music and a Masters of Music in Vocal Performance from Ithaca College plus 14 summers of teaching voice, vocal ensembles and music directing almost two dozen musicals and reviews at Ballibay Camps, Melissa has become an authority on Voice and Performance in the musical theatre, contemporary and classical setting. With a home studio in Jamesville, NY, and studio space in Skaneateles, NY and Downtown Syracuse, Melissa is building a thriving studio and business that shares the Ballibay philosophy of It's the Journey... not the product.

A vocal coaching is great for those looking to work on audition and role preparation. Melissa can help you pick a 16-bar section for auditions, help polish songs for recitals and competitions, help you learn music for choir or musicals, or help you with exercises and techniques that will help you build a strong, healthy foundation for singing. Working with a private vocal coach will help you gain confidence and give you the extra edge in auditions and performances.
