ITINERARYDAY1–BEACHES&SUNSET

The fun starts here! Leaving the volunteeraccommodationaround8am,wewillmake thejourneydowntoSanurharbourtojumpaboardthespeedboat.It’sarounda45-minutejourney

toNusaPenidaand ifyou’rebraveenoughtositon the top deck then you’re in for a treat andmaybe even a dance with loud music beingplayed.

You’ll be greeted by the local co-ordinator andthenstartyourjourneytoseeALLoftheisland!

Todaywewillbetickingoffthefamousbeaches;BrokenBeach,AngelsBillagong,KelingkingbeachandfinallytoseethesunsetatCrystalBay.

After darkwewill head to the hotel to check inforthenight.

DAY 2 – TEMPLES, VIEWS, BEACHES &HILLS

Another action packed day awaits! Afterbreakfast wewill jump into the car to visit GoaGiriPutriTemple.This largecavetemplewillseeyousqueezingthroughanarrowentranceandasyou wander through the passages you will beamazedatthegrandsizeofthecourtyardinside!

Afterwards we will head to Thousand IslandsViewpoint–oneofthehighlightsfortakinginthemost spectacular scenery and relaxing in theoceanbreeze.

Thedaywill finishoffwitha visit toAtuhBeachand then a quick stop at Teletubbies Hills – anundulating pasture covered in verdant greengrasses,fernsandlavender.

DAY3–NATURALPOOLS,WATERFALLS&CLIFFS

Time has flown by and it’s our last day in NusaPenida. Beforewe catch the speedboat back (inthe afternoon), we have a few more sites tocheckoffthelist.

Our first stop is Tembeling Pool and forestwhere you can go for a refreshing swim in thenatural pool and take in breath-taking sceneryaroundyou.NextisBanahCliff,whereyouwillquiteliterallyfeelontopoftheworld.To finish off we will stop at PeguyanganWaterfalls. If you’re scaredofheights, then it’stimetoovercomeyourfear!Walkingdownthericketystairsonthesideofthecliff,youwillbeable to take in the spectacular cliff views andvisit the pilgrimage site nearby.

ACCOMMODATIONOver the course of the weekend you will bestayingataguesthouse.Theguesthousewillbebasicbutcleanandcomfortableandperfectforgettingagoodnightsrest.You’llhavealloftheamenitiesyouneedsuchaswesternbathroomswithhotwater.

MEALSBreakfastis includedwithintheprogrammefeeand will be served at the guesthouse / hotel.Lunch and dinner are an additional cost andtimewillbemadeeachdayforeveryonetograbsomething to eat. Although prices are a littlehigher than Bali (due to having to importeverything) cost of living here is a lot cheaperthan England – we recommend budgetingaround£10perdayforfood.

TRANSPORTAll transport is includedwithin theprogrammefee. You will be transported to and from thevolunteer accommodation and harbour by aprivatecar/minibusaswellasduringyourtimeinNusaPenida.
