• The Bald Eagle, the national bird of the U.S., is a bird from North America that is endangered.

• It hunts by swooping down from a high distances and catching prey in its claw.

• The bald eagle is endangered by pollution and loss of the place it lives.

• Chosen as the national symbol of the United States in 1782, the bald eagle needs our help to remain a peace full and strong animal of prey.

• The bald eagle eats mainly fish.

• The eagle will not always be able to catch fish, it might miss!

animal? If you do, you should be

careful about where you thorough your trash.

• A way to help to protect them is to through your trash into the trash can and not the floor.

• The way trash could hurt them is that they will try to eat it and choke.

Eagles are disappearing

• One way that eagles are going extinct is from being shot by vandals.

• Vandals are people that kill eagles.

• The usual size of an eagles wing span is about 4 feet wide!
