Universal sun and heat protection made to measure: STOBAG sun awnings provide many benefits and ensure hours of relaxation in the shade. Awnings are usually installed on walls or under roofs. The flexible STOBAG privacy blinds guarantee your private space and provides protection against wind and the setting sun. Sometimes you don’t just want protection from the sun when you’re on the terrace or balcony but also from prying eyes or bothersome drafts. STOBAG awnings have been designed for universal shading of pati-os, balconies and outdoor seating areas in private homes and restau-rants. The variable fi xing options allow the equipment to be securely fi tted to the wall, ceiling or rafters.The open awnings can be individually adapted to the most diverse conditions by means of extensions such as protective roof, retract-able Volant-Plus or the variable angle of inclination adjustment. A special STOBAG arm-bracket combination allows for projections up to 5 metres.

Continual quality control and the use of tried and tested brand fab-rics with up to 100 % UV protection guarantee maximum safety and functionality. Choose from over 350 fabric designs and thousands of color combinations. Depending on the model and the desired con-veniences, the motor is operated manually by hand crank or via an electric motor, which can also be conveniently controlled via remote control or sun / wind sensor.

CROSS-OVER FOLDING ARMSWhen you need more overhang than width. Thanks to a special design with cross-over folding arms, narrow roof terraces and window niches can be provided with shade, hassle-free.

TELESCOPIC ARMSTOBAG’s very own telescopic arm technol-ogy ensures that the fabric is always taut and the designs sleek and space-saving.

VALANCEAvailable in various shapes, the valance not only provides you with additional shade, it is also a cover for awning arms in closed condition.

OMBRAMATIC The manual tilt adjustment allows you to adjust the tilt angle of the awning up to 60°. This makes it easy and convenient to adjust the shade to the position of the sun.

STOBAG cassette awnings provide convenient sun protection out of a secure box.Cassette awnings are particularly well-protected folding or telescop-ic arm awnings which can be fitted on the wall, to the ceiling or to a rafter. When the awning is rolled up the elegant and corrosion-resist-ant aluminium box effectively protects the cover and the mechanical components against environmental influences as well as rain, snow, storms and dirt. This has a positive effect on the service life of the awning and ensures undisturbed fun in the shade. The beautifully-designed and enclosed structure and the versatile design variants make STOBAG box awnings popular with architects and demanding developers as design features.Depending on the model, the awning can be operated by a crank or an optional electric motor. For automation, various versions of radio remote controls with sun and wind sensors are available. The practi-cal Volant-Plus protects against low sunlight. This can be extended as required and offers a little more privacy in addition to shade. In addition to the dense acrylic fabric, a slightly perforated fabric can also be used for a stronger feeling of privacy.

SQUARE OR ROUND DESIGNThe box is available in a choice of square or rounded designs. The clear lines of the designs can be harmoniously integrated into the architecture and also convince as a design element.

As no disruptive middle posts are required, the space below this awning can be used to the best effect.The stable folding arms roll out both sides synchronously or indi-vidually, depending on the model. Stability is ensured either by a concrete base, cross feet or floor sleeves to be set in concrete. The fabric and folding arms are securely stowed below the protective roof or in the protective box. So the free-standing shading can be left outside, even during the winter months.STOBAG shading systems are individually manufactured and offer a huge range of possibilities. STOBAG lateral shading systems are the ideal privacy blinds for ter-races and balconies. They protect you from your neighbours’ prying eyes or bothersome high winds and also provide lateral shade.The roller blind can be pulled out and locked manually on the adjust-able handle up to 400 cm. Various supports and angles are available for this lock. The integrated spring shaft tensions the fabric per-manently and ensures optimum stability. When closed, the fabric is protected by an attractive aluminium cassette.The detachable box system allows for particularly flexible use. The entire construction is suspended and fixed to the wall brackets. Ad-ditionally mounted brackets make it possible to relocate the system with ease.

CHANGING LOCATIONThanks to the hanging boxes, the lateral shading system with additional wall brackets can also be easily hung elsewhere.
