The Property Bakery House is a detached house built of Bradstone elevations under a pitched interlocking tiled roof. The property was bought by the current owner in June 2019 and has subsequently undergone a complete programme of modernisation and now offers superb contemporary accommodation in an excellent central village location. From the entrance hall there is a staircase to the first floor and cloakroom. The kitchen / dining room is a stunning room with a range of grey wall mounted and floor standing units with pan drawers and integrated appliances including fridge / freezer and dishwasher. There is ample space for a dining table and sliding patio doors to the garden with a further door to the utility / boot room with space and plumbing for a washing machine, sink and door to outside. The sitting room is a lovely triple aspect room with a wood burning stove on a slate hearth and sliding doors to the garden at the rear.

On the first floor the master bedroom is a generous double room overlooking the front garden and has a beautifully appointed ensuite shower room with double width shower. There are two further bedrooms and a family bathroom. The house sits centrally in its plot and has front and rear gardens and off-road parking. Situation Marnhull is one of the largest villages in England with a thriving community life and is celebrated in Thomas Hardy's Tess of the D'Urbervilles. It has two public houses, two primary schools, three churches, doctors' surgery, pharmacy, carpet and soft furnishing shop, two grocery shops (one with a post office), hairdresser and beauty salon. There are many clubs and societies and it is surrounded by beautiful countryside. More extensive shopping, business and recreational facilities are available in Sturminster Newton 3.5 miles whilst the larger towns of Shaftesbury 6 miles and Gillingham 6 miles, together with Sherborne 11 miles, are all easily accessible.

The A303 is to the north of Gillingham linking with the M3 to London. Mainline railway stations in Gillingham and Sherborne with a regular service to London Waterloo taking about 2 hours. Directions From Sturminster Newton head north on the B3092 going through Hinton St Mary. The entrance to Bakery House is on the right hand side just before the corner. Outside Set back from the village lane the property is approached across a tarmac drive over which it has a full right of way and is entered via double wooden gates on to a gravel drive where there is parking for two cars. The front garden is laid to lawn with a path leading to the front door.
