  • EM Bokashi

  • EM Bokashi(Fermented Organic matter with EM )Anaerobic EM BokashiCan be used for agriculture as organic fertilizer, animal husbandly/aquaculture as a feed additive, kitchen garbage treatment. Longer fermentation period compared to aerobic type. The quality is stable under anaerobic condition and can be kept longer than aerobic type.

Aerobic EM BokashiMainly used for agriculture as organic fertilizer.Easily produced on a large scale compared to the anaerobic type.

  • Anaerobic EM Bokashi

  • -Suitable Materials for anaerobic BokashiAs main materials(over 50% by volume): Rice bran, Wheat bran, corn meal etc *material with high carbohydrate content

Can be mixed with:Soybean meal, Oil Cake, Rice husk, Wheat husk, Bean husk, Fish meal, Bone meal, Crab Shell etc *contaminated materials can not be mixed Materials-EM1 and Molasses 1-5 % to the water volume-Clean waterAbout 30% of Materials by weight(20-30L for 100kg materials)

  • EM1-5% of water volumeMolasses1-5%of water volume WaterPreparation of EM solutionEM1About 30% of Materials by weight(20-30L for 100kg materials) *depending on the water content of materials

  • Mix Organic Materials and EM solution

  • Plastic containersPlastic BagsFermentation - Keep in an air-tight condition

  • EM Bokashi is ready for use, when it has a sweet-sour fermented smell.Anaerobic EM Bokashi can be matured with longer fermentation period.2 - 3 weeks

  • If the anaerobic Bokashi is exposed to the air, white mold will appear on the surface. This is harmless itself but gradually leads to quality deterioration and to putrefaction finally. Keep anaerobic during fermentation and storage!!Especially for feeding animals check the smell and make sure the quality of Bokashi. *Remove the moldy part.

    EM Bokashi

  • -Suitable Materials for aerobic BokashiMaterials group 1: Use at least 10% of total amount. Rice bran, Wheat bran, Corn meal etc *material with high carbohydrate content

Materials group 2: Animal dung, Soybean meal, Oil Cake, Fish meal, Bone meal etc *material with high nutrient content Materials group 3:Rice husk, Wheat husk, Bean husk, rice straw charcoal *material with high C/N ratio or other organic matter

*The mix ratio depends on the purpose.Materials-EM1 and Molasses 1-5 % to the water volume-Clean water

  • EM Bokashi is ready for use when - it has a sweet-sour fermented smell. - its temperature is stable.About1 week

  • Storage of EM Bokashi(Aerobic Type)Dry without direct sunlightAerobic EM Bokashi can be kept about 6 months under good storage condition.

  • EM CompostEM can be applied to normal composting method to improve the quality, accelerate the decomposition process and suppress odor.
