NG The beginnings of badminton can be
traced to the mid-1800s in BritishIndia, where it was created by Britishmilitary officers stationed there.
INTRODUCTION
It’s to hit the shuttlecock over the net in a way that the other player or pair cannot hit it back properly before it hits the floor.
Every time this is done, the player or pair gets one point. The winner of the rally (intercambio de golpeos) gets to serve.
Badminton is a racquet sport played by either two opposingplayers (singles) or two opposing pairs (doubles) on a court.

THE SERVICE
At the start of the rally (intercambiode golpeos), the server and receiver stand in diagonally opposite service
courts. The server hits the shuttlecock so that it would land in the receiver's service court. This is similar to tennis.
When the serving side loses a rally, the serve immediately passes to
their opponent(s)
