I extend my warmest welcome to you at National Infotech where we started our journey in the pursuit excellence in B.S. 2062. It has been a wonderful experience so far; one that can be cherished by all associated with this institution: the students and the teachers.

The entire gamut of activities at Ni reflects its objective of nurturing young minds and helping them grow as responsible citizen who can make positive contribution to the society and the nation. Our team of professional and dedicated teaching faculties are passionate about working with students and delivering a quality education. They readily accept their responsibility to develop our students. Ni is supported by a number of visiting professors capable of helping develop analytical skills of students.

To support our programs, teaching and learning activities we have three science labs, a library and a computer lab equipped with modern facilities. The lecture rooms are equipped integrated with smart boards with interactive teaching materials developed at Pearson Education to help understand the scientific process through visualization and allow students an access to teaching and learning materials.

National Infotech is a specialized science college

affiliated to Higher Secondary Education Board of Nepal for its +2 Science Program.

HSEB curriculum is designed to enhance student's knowledge and develop problem solving skills at an advanced level. A fine balance between these two essential components is maintained in all the modules. At the end of the program you will be equipped with subjective knowledge and soft skills such as analytical and communicative skills required at university level education.

Successful +2 graduates are eligible for admission in most university undergraduate programs all over the world.

National Infotech is a great place to learn with digital classrooms andlabs providing specialist facilities for Biology, Chemistry, Physics and

Applied Science with access to computers to improve learning.“ “ADMISSIONMinimum qualification required for admission in +2 program is SLC or equivalent with minimum aggregate of 60%. Every student has to appear and pass the entrance examination conducted by the college.

SCHOLARSHIPThe college provides a number of scholarships to academically able students as a financial assistance towards their tuition fee. Full fee scholarships are provided to the students scoring highest marks at the college entrance examination, district topper and to the individuals playing any sports at national level in Nepal.

B.Sc. CSIT (TU)Bachelor of Computer Science & Information Technology

INTRODUCTIONBachelor of science in computer science and information technology (B.Sc.CSIT), affiliated to TU is a four years IT and computer science program. For fulfilling the need of the job market and allow students to pursue their interested area, many elective courses have been also introduced. The program comprises computer science and ALLIED courses of 126 credit hours.

The program involves a great deal of practical and project works in addition to conventional lectures. This program combines the strength of both the computer science and information technology and shows how this principle can be applied to solve real world problems. This program develops the skills that are essentials for both the computer and professionals and IT managers.

ELIGIBILITY FOR ADMISSIONThe candidates applying for B.Sc.(CSIT) program must have

n Successfully completed twelve years schooling/ PCL in science or its equivalent from any university, board institutions of Tribhuwan University.

n The candidates appearing in the entrance test conducted by institute of science and technology Tribhuwan University (ISOT-TO), must secure at least 35% marks in order to be eligible.

n The candidates must have secured at least 2nd division marks in 10+2; PCL or equivalent program, compiled with all the application procedure.
