EARLY CHILDHOODPHILOSOPHY
All young children thrive and learn in a school
dedicated to ensuring they reach their full
potential.
potencial.
We appreciate early childhood as a unique
and valuable stage in the life cycle while respecting
the dignity and uniqueness of every child.
We base our work on knowledge of how children
develop and learn and support the bond between the child and their family
within the context of culture and community.
We recognize that children achieve their
full potential in the context of relationships that are based on trust
and respect.
We believe in excellence, innovation, transparency
and reflection in our teaching and learning
community.
Creemos en la excelencia, innovacion, transparencia
y refleccion en nuestra comunidad de ensenanza
y aprendizaje.
Learning and development follow
sequences and proceeds at different levels just as
children learn in their own time.
Development proceeds toward greater complexity,
self-regulation, and symbolic or representational
capacities as children grow.
Play is an important vehicle for developing self- regulation and promoting language, cognition, and
social competences.El juego es importante
para desarrollar el auto control, promover el
lenguaje, la cognicion y las competencia sociales.
Development and learning advance when
children are challenged.
retados.
