Theme 3: Seeing a Doctor Objectives :Talk about symptoms of a cold;Describe common symptoms of allergies;Understand and repeat instructions on when and
how to take medications;Talk about why you do or don’t want to see the
doctor;Urge your friend to see a doctor when he/she is
not feeling well.
Theme 4: DatingObjectives :Describe how long you have known someone;Invite someone for a date;Accept/Decline a date politely;End a phone conversation without hurting the other
person’s feelings.
Theme 5: Renting an ApartmentObjectives : Describe your current and ideal living quarters;
Name pieces of furniture;Discuss and negotiate rent, utilities, and security deposits.
