CLASSROOM BEHAVIOR

• I fo l low the co lor system used school -wide.• Reminder: Yel low means s low down. I t does NOT mean

a student should be punished or involve communicat ion home.• Incent ives are offered both by me and the school for

posi t ive behavior , such as Gator Heads and Gator Tickets .• I communicate home about behavior i f i t i s a repeated

issue that the student i s not work ing toward improving.

HOMEWORK• Expect homework 3-4 n ights a week. I t wi l l usual ly be

Math and Spel l ing.• Although I encourage planner use da i ly , I do not

require them. I f students cont inual ly forget homework, they become required.• Forgett ing homework resul ts in study hal l dur ing

recess. Repeated miss ing work wi l l be resolved through parent contact .

• Frankl in Township no longer al lows food to be brought in for parties or treats for students other than your own. Please do not send in food for birthdays or special occasions!• Background checks are required for anyone who

wants to volunteer. They require t ime to process, so please don’t forget to fil l one out i f you plan on volunteering!

EVERYDAY MATH

• We have upgraded to the newest vers ion o f Everyday Math , and a lo t has changed!

• PLEASE unders tand that there may be some k inks that need to be worked out th rough the year.

• The tes ts are d ifferent , and we wi l l make sure s tudent effor t i s reflected in the i r scores .

• Students wi l l be rotat ing through intervention groups as needed dur ing sc ience to make sure they are caught up on math!
