Learn the usage of the -ing form and expressions with at, for, in and on.
Instrucciones:
Activity 1
Check the grammar chart and the examples, then copy and answer the following questions
in a Word document:
When can we use -ing forms, after or before prepositions?Can we use -ing form as the subject?Where does not go, before or after the -ing form?
Activity 2
Write sentences using your own ideas. Write down five examples using the prepositions,
five examples with verbs and five examples with expressions with negative meaning.
Forms and examples are shown at the end of the document.

Use the following prompt to write three sentences in the same Word document using your
ideas about technology nowadays. Page 70 student’s book.
Then, check online and find out and copy the definition of binge-watching and answer the
following question yourself: How often do you binge-watch?
After that, read the entry in 2A and then complete the missing gaps with the expression
from 2B. Just write the answers in the document.
Activity 4
Copy the following exercise in your notebook writing the correct answers. Use a dictionary
or check online if necessary, to look for definitions or meanings. The complete the other
activity with words in bold from exercise 1. Page 148 student’s book.
