Isaiah 23:7-8 “Is this your joyous city, whose antiquity is of ancient days? Her own feet shall carry her afar off to sojourn. Who hath taken this counsel against Tyre, the crowning city, whose merchants are princes, whose traffickers are the honorable of the earth? The LORD of hosts hath purposed it, to stain the pride of all glory, and to bring into contempt all the honorable of the earth.”

New York City is not only the most populated city in the USA, but it is also the financial and commerce capital of this country because Wall Street is there. This is the location of the world’s largest stock market, the New York Stock Exchange [NYSE]. New York City is a major port for the U.S. and it’s also the largest market for most U.S. government bonds and international commodities like gold, silver, oil, platinum, cocoa, and coffee. The Federal Reserve Bank of N.Y., the most powerful of the 12 Federal Reserves Banks in the U.S., is also there. But, the financial center of the “old” world is London; comprising two financial pillars of strength…like Babylon and Tyre.

In the city of London, all major corporations in the world have their stock listed on the NYSE and they are bought and sold each day there. The NYSE is the lifeblood of all corporations…for the time being.

“THE HANDWRITING’S ON THE WALL STREET”


Isaiah 14:4,12 “That thou shall take up this proverb against the king of Babylon, and say, How hath the oppressor ceased! the golden city ceased! … How art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!”

Babylon and [later in history] Tyre, a Phoenician/African city, were immensely wealthy commercial and religious centers which controlled and influenced the affairs of the world at that time; [they weakened the nations by revolution, commercial trade and finance. As Babylon and Tyre sowed, they reaped; and so shall America and the rest of the world who follows her. Isaiah 23:5 “As at the report concerning Egypt, so shall they be sorely pained at the report of Tyre.” After a decade of gains, U.S. stocks were humbled according to the Wall Street Journal: Money & Investing. The stock market has been most volatile since September 11, but the recent lows in the market out-eclipsed the lows that occurred right after 9/11 and even the worldwide global financial crisis of 1998. It is no surprise that commercial giant like WorldCom and Enron have filed for bankruptcy amidst such an unstable market. Plagued by the rapid erosion of its profits, WorldCom filed the largest bankruptcy in United States history noting a $107 billion collapse. [$107 billion is WorldCom’s assets]. But, WorldCom is only one of a few. According to Bankruptcy Data.com, [in the New York Times], more than half of the 10 biggest bankruptcies since 1980 have occurred in the last 18 months. Among them are Texaco, Pacific Gas and Electric, Mcorp, Kmart, NTL, Global Crossing, Adelphia and Financial Corp of America. Under Chapter 11, WorldCom can continue to operate while it develops a reorganization plan. Last month, WorldCom, which operated the world’s largest Internet network, arranged $2 billion “debtor-in protection financing” from Citigroup, J.P., Morgan and G.E. Capital that will allow it to continue to operate. Like WorldCom, Enron also had a financial accounting system that made it appear “richer” that it really was. One of two of the nation’s largest banks, Citigroup arranged a complex financial facility that made Enron appear “cash heavy” rather than heavily indebted. The arrangement called Yosemite, helped Enron’s book borrow money as income from energy trade rather than loans, which created a $1 billion gap between Enron’s cash flow and it’s actual financial position on paper. Even Wall Street has been implicated in the Enron scandal while CMS Energy and Duke Energy are also under investigation by the Senate’s Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations for conducting similar moves. On the other hand, some companies like Coca-Cola, J. P Morgan, Citigroup/Salomon Smith Barney, Xerox, and a few others, having weathered the storm, reported increases to profits in the midst of Wall Street turmoil. Even, when the market falls like it did, some smaller companies were winners amidst the losses, but they are not very big wins. Many of the winners had already taken big stock hits [losses] in past years. Now, Kraft Foods, Proctor & Gamble, Bed, Bath & Beyond and Aetna, Inc. all have stocks that are in the black; and Aetna has a long history of being in the black”. ‘Black Gold’ that is…human cargo!


”YHWH [the LORD] shall bring thee into Egypt [BONDAGE] AGAIN WITH SHIPS, by the way whereof I spoke…Thou shalt see it no more again: there ye shall be sold unto your enemies for bondmen and bondwomen [slaves], and no man shall buy you”. Deuteronomy 28:68 Erroneously referred to as the so-called ‘African Holocaust’, the sale, enslavement and transportation of the Negro [Hebrew Israelites] in the global slave trade [sent forth by the hands of YHWH] severed all ties to His holy land [Israel] and His name. Ghana was the headquarters of the slave trade with 42 slave fortresses, [like the one

right] slaves were shipped from 8 coastal regions [Senegambia, Sierra Leone, Ivory Coast, Liberia, Gold Coast, Bight of Benin, Bight of Biafra, central Africa], making the America’s the real center of trade. This led to the development of America’s and Europe’s commercial empires and Industrial revolution. John Henrik Clarke, Historian, in his book entitled Christopher Columbus & the Afrikan Holocaust, asserted that

the voyages of Columbus marked the start of world capitalism and Euro-Gentile’s colonial domination of the world. Although other Europeans and [so-called] natives [American Indians] were initially used as slave labor, as the demand for goods rose Hebrew slaves solved the Euro-Gentile’s labor problems once and for all because they were not only skilled laborers and farmers [husbandmen], but they were said to be “EXPERTS” in tropical agriculture.

Jeremiah 31:18 “I have surely heard Ephraim bemoaning himself thus; Thou hast chastised me, and I was chastised, as a bullock unaccustomed to the yoke: turn thou me, and I shall be turned; for thou art the LORD YHWH] my God”.

Treated as oxen these, valuable beasts [slaves] had to be insured to protect the owner’s investment. Aetna was a forerunner in Hebrew [Negro] slave insurance…but she was not alone!! Having apologized in 1992 for their participation in the Trans-Atlantic Slave trade, Aetna acknowledged that by insuring slaves transported to the Americas, they maintained the slave trade making it a viable “global” enterprise. Ezekiel 17:4 “A great eagle with great wings, long-winged, full of feathers…divers colors, came unto Lebanon, and took the highest branch of the cedar: He cropped off the top of his young twigs, and carried it into a land of traffick; he set it in a city of merchants.” The Atlanta-Journal-Constitution has reported that Georgia Insurance Commissioner, John Oxendine, launched an investigation that began on May 2, 2002,to determine whether the


practice of insuring slaves was widespread in Georgia. The announcement has fueled the debate over reparations for descendants of slaves. Featured in the article was Charles A. Platt, a furniture maker in Augusta, Ga., who insured his slaves at Nautilus Mutual Life Insurance Co. of New York between 1845 and 1848. In the event they ran away OR DIED, as stated in the slave policy [left], Massa would receive $1,062. [The English word “Massa” used by Negroes for the slave master, in the Strong’s Hebrew Lexicon (05375) from (04853 & 04854) means load bearing, tribute, burden, lifting a load or burden]…for “Massa’s yoke” was a heavy burden upon our people! [This was not a coincidence for in this title YHWH has given us yet another clue as to our true identities]! Isaiah 47:6 “I was wroth with my people, I have polluted mine inheritance, and given them into thine hand: thou didst show them no mercy; upon the ancient hast thou very heavily laid thy yoke”.

The notion that one human could own another and collect benefits [even if the slave DISAPPEARED], while businesses profited from the premiums in the meantime, is evidence that SLAVERY OF THE NEGRO WAS A GLOBAL BUSINESS. Leslie Harris, an Emory University Associate professor of so-called African-American history, said, “without slave labor, this country’s accumulation of wealth would have been very different or very difficult.” She asked the relevant questions of business and government: “Were enslaved Negroes remunerated for that work – did they receive profits? Is there a fair way to do that a century and a half later? In inheriting profits, do you also inherit some of the responsibility? ”Initiated by former State Senator, Tom Hayden in 2000, California con-ducted an investigation in which 8 insurance companies found records of more than 600 slave policies throughout the south. (Most of the slaves lived in Savannah or Augusta, GA.) Hayden required the state to release public information about the slave policies they carried. So far, no other state has required this. Nautilus, now known as New York Life issued 339 slaves policies of the first 1,000 policies it issued. The California report indicates slave-masters insured slaves with particular talents, such as carpentry and masonry, more than field slaves or the less skilled. Women, too, were often covered because of their value in BEARING AND RAISING CHILDEN WHO WOULD BECOME SLAVES THEREBY “ENSURING” THE CONTIN-UITY OF THEIR BUSINESS.


It was for this purpose of “IMMORALITY and CRUELTY” that our women became more valued to white society than our men. Jeremiah 4:16-17 “ Make ye mention to the nations; behold, publish against Jerusalem, that watchers come from a far country, and give out their voice against the cities of Judah. As keepers of a field, are they against her round about; because she hath been rebellious against me, saith the LORD.” Consistent with scripture and prophecy, the nations did publish this wickedness against Jerusalem [our city and us] in using newspaper ads like the one pictured [left-bottom]. In an 1849 ad on the Augusta newspaper’s front page, the North Carolina Mutual Life Insurance Co. of Raleigh, offered terms of 1 or 5 years for insuring slaves. [North Carolina Mutual went out of business years later and the name was taken by an insurance company established in 1898 that is the nation’s oldest and largest African-American-owned insurance company]. USA Today/ Money indicated that many of the nations largest newspaper companies [still in business today] owned “dailies” that were vital to the slave economy offering rewards for the capture of escaped slaves or slaves bought for purchase. Many, having slightly modified their names are, The Macon Telegraph, The Baltimore Sun, The Memphis Daily Appeal, The Times-Picayune [New Orleans], The Hartford Courant, The Louisville Daily, and The Montgomery (Alabama) Advertiser. We can see the evidence on how the strength and wealth of this nation was built “literally” on the backs of Negroes …just as our people built the treasure cities of Egyptians/Africans [the Babylon of that day]; in the first enslavement from which our people were gathered as a holy nation [Exodus 1:11, 13-14]. USA Today/Money reported that it was in the cotton fields of Alabama, that a German, founder Henry Lehman of Lehman Bros., grew wealthy through one brother who owned 3 males and 4 female slaves ranging from ages 5 to 50. The information, coming from the Lehman family historical notes entitled, The Lehmans: From Rimpar to the New World, indicated that they stored cotton, and often paid cotton planters hard currency and bartered goods then sold the bales to other brokers and bankers in New York [America/Babylon] and Liverpool, England [Tyre of ancient Babylon]. The Lehman Bros. spokesman said it’s “news to him” and “fascinating” that their founders owned slaves. From a separate February 21, 2002 USA Today/Money article, the point was driven home that the whole world owned Hebrew slaves. North America’s 4 major railroad networks – Norfolk Southern, CSX, Union Pacific and Canadian Nation – all owned lines that were BUILT AND OPERATED with slave labor. Historians say nearly every rail line built east of the Mississippi River and south of the Mason-Dixon line, BEFORE the Civil War, was constructed or run at least partly by slaves. In the book Working for the Railroad, Walter Licht, historian of the University of Pennsylvania said, “Slaves formed the back bone of the South’s railway labor force as track repair men, station helpers, brakemen, firemen, enginemen, and to clear, grade and lay railroad tracks”. Continuing to violate YHWH’s Sabbath Day [Saturday], as Tyre did in ancient times [Neh 13:16], Lehman Bros. and other merchants of America still sell their wares to acquire more wealth “born from unpaid Hebrew labor”. Claiming surprise, amazement, ignorance, and in some cases, DISDAIN, the merchants of Babylon [America] are trying to keep their “dirt hidden under their skirts”, but YHWH is exposing the NAKEDNESS of Babylonian Business through activists of the world who have been made to cry out for


justice on behalf of his holy people. From the WTC, an icon of financial supremacy and domination, to U.S. [Babylonian] business, signs are given so that we will know the “handwriting is on the wall” [Street, that is!]. “I will discover thy skirts upon thy face, and I will show the nations thy nakedness, and the kingdoms thy shame”. Nahum 3:5 “ These kings take a focal point in end-time prophecy. Pointing to an increasingly close military alliance between Russia, Iran/Iraq and Red China [the kings of the east], it should not be a surprise that this part of prophecy has come to “fruition”.

Habukkah 1:810 “Their horses also are swifter than the leopards, and are more fierce than the evening wolves…their horsemen shall spread themselves…their horsemen shall come from far; they shall fly as the eagle that hastes to eat. They shall come all for violence: their faces shall sup up as the east wind, and they shall gather the captivity as the sand…they shall scoff at the kings, and the princes shall be a scorn unto them: they shall deride every strong hold; for they shall heap dust, and take it.” Like the Chaldeans’ rise to super-power status in their day, China is seen in prophecy with a similar destiny as a superpower. Having boasted of a 200,000 million-man army years ago, what would make China amass an army of this size? Unknown to many, China’s need for oil is growing at a staggering pace and perhaps the middle-east is where she plans to get it; maybe even by force, if necessary. To enforce this point, in recent news, China has begun to make her “goals” toward superpower status crystal clear. Diplomatic analysts in Beijing say, China is

using the Russian “card” against the U.S. China denies the allegations but numerous international news sources say China is actively cultivating the Russians. Because of prophecy, it should not come as a surprise that Russia and China are playing war games. Russia is selling some of its best military weapons to China, including ships, submarines, radar systems, and jet planes. The U.S. has confirmed that Russia is selling its big nuclear missiles and carrying sub-marines to Red China, [according to CNN.com and the International Tribune Herald]. Beijing, China is negotiating to buy 8 submarines from Russia in a $1.6 billion deal that would significantly increase China’s ability to blockade Taiwan and challenge U.S. naval supremacy in the seas near China, Western and Russian sources said. Taiwan is a major player in U.S. imports. Revelation 16:12-13 “The sixth angel poured out his vial upon the great river Euphrates; and the water thereof was dried up, that the way of the kings of the east might be prepared.” With their prime minister’s mandate to save their nation’s industry and banks from collapse, they are reorganizing their banks along the lines of the U.S. Federal Reserve and have begun to align themselves more favorable with the international community [EU] to improve their overall position. China is amassing weapons because she has been appointed to the sword [war]!!

Revelation 6:8-9 “And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held:”.

America is no stranger to martial law and the time has arrived where she is familiarizing herself with many of her old ways. On September 15, 1863, Abraham Lincoln imposed Con-gressionally authorized martial law which suspended habeas corpus throughout the entire United States on "prisoners of war, aiders and abettors of the enemy, draft dodgers and spies. Habeas corpus [Latin for “you have the body”] is a petition filed with a court whereby a person objects to his own or another's arrest. It’s amazing that America, who once arrested spies, is now encouraging “spying” by average citizens through Bush’s TIPS Program. Bush outlined his Homeland Security Strategy for CNN.com on July 17, 2002; of which TIPS is a part. Participation requires only internet access or dialing a toll free number to one of the "Operation TIPS” Headquarters. According to the Washington Post, Attorney General John Ashcroft's spokesperson said, the program would set up people to "spy" on one another in their homes and communities". Others argue that the program was never intended to allow workers to have access into homes for the purpose of spying but was designed to be used by workers whose jobs already take them through communities. Is there a difference?? With plans to recruit one (1) in every 24 U. S. citizens, the U.S. Postal Service told the Washington Post that they have already been contacted by the Homeland Security (TIPS) recruiters and have declined to participate in their program, but later indicated it has a process for


postal employees to report suspicious activities. Those involved in voluntary TIPS “spying” could be truckers, mail carriers, train conductors, ship captains, or utility employees. The article “praised” TIPS as a relatively viable means of controlling terrorism and implied that it is being “assailed as a scheme” just to cast ordinary people as “Peeping Toms”. But even more of a concern is a proposal made by Senator Joseph R. Biden, Jr., (Dem), whereby he endorsed giving soldiers the power to arrest American citizens. This would give them the right to "shoot and kill" [without special authorization or declarations] while investigating so-called suspicious and terrorists activity. The onset of martial law in America is simply “the daughter of the harlot” sharing her “delicacies” with the merchants of the earth [her bedfellows]. The world has already learned all of her ways.

Proverbs 5:34 “For the lips of a strange woman drop as an honeycomb, and her mouth is smoother than oil: But her end is bitter as wormwood, sharp as a two-edged sword.”

Historical bedmates, Europe will take America’s maneuvers of martial law to new heights! The “cry of the martyrs” of the 5th seal is heighten persecution [Rev 20:4] as pictured in the old black and white movie entitled “A Tale of Two Cities. A “historical” and graphic depiction of the insanities committed in the name of the French revolution [France vs. England] with its countless deaths by guillotine, and the total disregard for civil liberties--all in the name of Mother Liberty!! Notice any American similarities?? Revelation 6:10 And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth?” YHWH will not forsake his own!! The martyrs under the altar are those who have died for the SPIRIT of prophecy [the testimony of Yahshua]. Thus, they died for holding fast to hopes of eternal salvation, according to the truth of scripture [and not according to popular traditional doctrine]; and for refusal to “conform to the ways and the image of the beast”. There is silence in heaven for ½ of an hour, accentuating the severity of the judgments to come in answer to their prayers. Revelation 8:5 “Then the angel took the censer, filled it with fire from the altar, and hurled it on the earth; and there came peals of thunder, rumblings, flashes of lightning and an earthquake.”

Real interests are being revealed. Resentments of past years between the U.S. and Europe, Asia and the Middle East are crystallizing into a sudden perception that their relationship with America has changed. Countries who were often Pro-America [like England, Germany and Arab nations], have begun to speak out in public bluntness, opposing American views, that would have been unthinkable 5 years ago or before 9/11.

The Superiority Syndrome


America’s contempt for [what she says] is “a weak Europe” has pressured the European Union to form a more “out-spoken” independence and a clear understanding that Europe must spend more money on their military forces; if Washington is going to take them seriously. According the New York Times, this was brought on by America’s moral leadership through Bush that Europe says is no longer unilateral but has been “frittered away” causing America to view the European Union as a counterbalance to Washington’s interests.

Jeremiah 51:33 “For thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; The daughter of Babylon is like a threshing floor, it is time to thresh her: yet a little while, and the time of her harvest shall come.” One item helpful in defining Europe’s changing attitude is a long article in Policy Review, an American quarterly published by the Hoover Institution; www.policyreview.org. The article, entitled “Power and Weakness,” by Robert Kagan, is circulating by email and is causing European elites to see themselves as Washington sees them – as ‘powers’ who use multilateralism as a kind of weapon to restrain the U.S. super status. As quoted from the article, “The Europeans, to escape their bloody history, are sharing sovereignty in the EU, "moving beyond power into a self-contained world of laws and rules and transnational negotiation and cooperation." Isaiah 13:11 “I will cause the arrogancy of the proud to cease, and will lay low the haughtiness of the terrible”. The report is a proud and boastful monologue of U.S. prowess, military superiority and ‘genius’ implying that she alone has the “intelligence [mental] and leadership abilities suited for superpower status”. One of the only “true depictions” of the U.S. position in the article, since 9/11, is the statement in which it was admitted that the 9/11 attacks have successfully damaged U.S. education, tourism, trade and the economy. This perpetual U.S. “superiority syndrome” of self-adoration has America so blind that she cannot see her own foot positioned to slip. A year ago, WWPR-FM (105.1) was one of New York City’s leading rhythm and blues stations, offering listeners a range of oldies from Diana Ross and the Supremes to the Spinners to

HIP-HOP TRANSFORMS THE ECONOMY


Earth, Wind and Fire, the music of baby boom generation. But in March 2002, according to the New York Times/Business, many radio stations abruptly altered their formats from R & B to hip-hop. The shifts, from Louisiana to Chicago, and New York to California, are propelled by economics because of the appeal that hip-hop has on listeners between the ages of 18 to 34. As indicated in the article, this age group can’t go out and buy big homes like older generations, but they match their spending power on liquor, soda, cell phones, electronics and clothes. Quoting Time.com, “Remember, hip-hop was born on the heels of the Civil Rights Movement [a detriment to our people], a serious fiscal crisis in New York City and other urban areas, gang activity, etc. Since then hip-hop has documented the horrific Reagan era, the invasion of crack, guns, AIDS and the dilemma of education [demonstrated by those with college degrees who are themselves not more than a paycheck away from poverty]. It has also documented it’s own "civil war" [between the coasts] that appears to be on the downswing, but actually has been replaced by the issues of corporate control and censorship; issues of gender and the struggle of women rappers challenging the negative stereotypes of black women…a stereotype that is constantly reinforced by some of their male [and female] hip-hop colleagues in “vulgar verbiage and displays of flesh and simulated sex”. These issues are “mentioned” but receive no action by the Hip-Hop generation. The “merchants of the earth” who globally reverence this so-called “nation”, can never understand the historical struggle of hip-hop. It was a do-it yourself movement in the outer boroughs, that was built lash by lash, brick by brick — a movement to which the “suits running the music industry in their glass towers across the river” were mostly resistant. Having taken the world by storm, hip-hoppers, like Nelly (right) have even the music “so- phisticates” hanging on their every word…for the earnings that hip-hop draws. But how edifying are those words, particularly to our own people. Because the truth of our heritage lies in our identity [that connects us eternally to YHWH Elohim as “ministers of his WORD”], the hip-hop “nation” [that uses words for gain] must be aware that “their words” should not keep our people wiling in the mud of the sin and despair. As ministers of the WORD, we are responsible for much!! Titus 1:10-11 “There are many unruly and vain talkers…,specially they of the circumcision: Whose mouths must be stopped, who subvert whole houses, teaching things which they ought not, for filthy lucre's sake.”

Big Business has made it almost impossible for the average man to earn a living. Under their “business confederacies and agreements”, they’ve gained control of one Industry after another. The result we feel daily is economic slavery. This is business, man’s way, proving that good and evil cannot coexist.

Unlike the movie, The Tale of Two Cities, the real tale of two cities is the one of Jerusalem [the virtuous woman/wife] versus Babylon [woman of harlotry]. How faithful can a harlot be to any one individual?? What of family? Then, should we expect more from Babylonian Business practices?? Nehemiah 10:31 “And [if] the people of the land bring bring ware or any victuals on the Sabbath day to sell, [that] we would not buy it of them on the Sabbath, or on the Holy Day: and [that] we would leave the seventh seventh year, and the exaction of every debt.” Hebrew people were given perpetual direction of economic principles, business practices, the sale of property [including [including land, etc.] through following the laws, statutes and judgments given to them by YHWH through Moses. As noted in Nehemiah, the Sabbath was a day of rest in which all business ceased, except for the holy business of YHWH. YHWH established the [7th day] Sabbath as a day of rest [Gen 2:2]--the first rest through his own example on the 7th day and commanded man to do likewise. Are the laws [and this example set by YHWH Elohim] not good enough for man?? Do we presume to know more than He who created us?? Job 22:13 “ And thou sayest, How doth God know? Can he judge through the dark cloud?” Christian leaders, many too blind to be aware of their own Babylonian birth through Catholicism, rapidly followed the pattern of non-biblical cultures to the point where, today government, industry, and our economic system compete with the family instead of supporting the family structure. Few people even question their priorities because we, as a nation, have become like the Babylonians—we have a love of lucre and commerce. Our government can no longer even define what the family is! The bible has no trouble defining family or business. YHWH Elohim, Masterful Teacher that He is, uses “the Proverbs woman” [Proverbs 31:10-13] to provide us with an understanding of the working principles of His Word. By these descriptions we see “the righteous” exercising dominion in the various realms of life…home, business, economics, ministry and government. Prov 31: 14-16, 24 "She is like the merchant ship, she brings her food from afar. She rises while it is still night and provides food for her household, and a portion for her maidservants. She considers a field and buys it; from her profits she plants a vineyard. She makes linen garments and sells them, and supplies sashes for the merchants." The Proverbs woman is a “righteous” businesswoman involved in commerce. She understands economics and free enterprise. She is also intelligent and industrious. She perceives that her merchandise is good. This is confidence in who she is and whom she serves, not pride. She knows she is stewarding those gifts and talents that YHWH has given her, developing an expertise. She's not burying her talents but investing them wisely to YHWH's profit as well as her own and that of her family's. The Proverb's woman, having her steps ordered and priorities right, understands the balance between family and business and does both to YHWH’s glory.
