This is essential for designing and for business strategies. There is also a fully equipped easting area that allows students to learn the process. Sesides classrooms for teaching, we have lovely open learning areas where the students can work in groups o ruse the spacefor designing. We have a fully equipped goldsmith workshop with 46 workshop benches shared by 2-3 students from ditterent semesters. At KEA's prototype workshop students have access to several workshop facilities, including a wide range of machines and equipment like a CNC milling machine, a laser cutter or ditterent 3D printers, aliawing them to elaborate on their ideas from concept to final produet EXCHANGE Exchange students are accepted to the 4th semester in Spring 2020. lt is required that students have completed a least 1-2 years of studies in a related field prior to the exchange. Note, that this programme is oftered in English every other year, which means that the semesters open to exchange alternate from year to year.

4TH SEMESTER COURSE: JEWELLERY AND CHANGE -17 GOALS TO CHANGE THE WORLD (30 ECTS) United Nations' "17 Goals to C hang e the World" is the themefor thi s year's entrepreneurial class. In groups of tour, students will develop a business concept and establish a company from business plan, concept, produet idea to produetion and sales. We are going to challenge sustainable principles and business concepts within the jewellery field. The ultimate goal will be either bringing awareness to the U N's sustainable goals and/or apply U N's sustainable goals in the concept. In an entrepreneurial context students have to design and develop a commercial jewellery collection. They have to produce, brand and bring the calleetion to market, establish 2 sales channels where the produetwill reach a target group, out of which one has to be a "Pop-Up Shop".

LEARNING GOALS Through the understanding of the company's value chain, strategy, tactics and business plan, students gain knowledge of business operations, including the start-up and operation of their own business. Throughmarket analysis and produet development, students gain an understanding for development opportunities, differentiation, positioning and economic consensus.
