Course Description

You will acquire knowledge, understandingand a range of practical skills relating tokey business disciplines applicable to arange of commercial and non-commercialsectors, and in a variety of geographicaland cultural settings. In particular, you willdevelop skills and understanding specic tomarketing planning and strategy, marketingcommunications and the role of marketers assources of management intelligence to supporteffective decision making. You will also developa range of transferrable skills that will aid youto pursue a business career or further relevantstudy.

Assessment

You will complete 23 assessments in total,

comprising a mixture of assignments andexams, as well as a Personal DevelopmentPlan and a learning diary. A number of theassignments and exams will be based on a casestudy. You will also complete a nal dissertationof 10,000 words.

Duration of Programme

This course is expected to be completed within4.5 years. However, our online distance learningstudents have exibility in setting their ownpace of study, which means that the course canbe completed in a minimum period of 3 years.

Entry RequirementsFor the full degree:

Two subjects at GCE A level or equivalent,plus passes at grade C or above in threesubjects at GCSE level or equivalent; OR:

Completion of a recognised AccessProgramme (or equivalent).

English language ability equivalent to IELTS6.0, where the medium of schooling was notEnglish.

Or, for the nal year top-up:

BTEC Level 5 HND Diploma in Business

(Management). English ability equivalent to an IELTS score

of 6.0.
