overview of a specific industry is discussed in a manner that helps the consumer to compare and relate to their own needs.

Why?- To target specific audience, to narrow consumer’s search for knowledge about the industry.
Where?- In markets where industry has developed to a certain level; where market demands a platform for spreading information.
When?- Usually issued weekly or monthly. Some magazines do come out quarterly and half-yearly. Yearly editions are not uncommon either..
